 I was talking about My Strange Addiction there was also a one hour show about the love doll...I think it was called My Doll.

Damn that show! I think it was there I saw a thing about someone obsessed with real life babies (ie, they LOOK real - in a creepy way). I suppose it all does no harm unless you're hauling the "baby" to work with you every day and taking breaks to change its diaper and whatnot, but it's one of those things I just can't relate to.

Much like men who are into the whole "treat me like a baby...literally".
yeah, what happens where normal sex just isn't enough? All the positions just don't cut it anymore? We need jelly rubbed on us, while licking gravel to feel something.
But yet as for as any of us know we all harbor weird habits or needs. :naughty:
    haha, I guess I'm just vanilla.....normal sex...I like it.
Thank you fellow 10 clubber for saving my ass....again!!!

My late FIL was married to a lady that had a 'real baby', got it special made to look like her when she was a baby. She changed its diaper and dressed it in a new outfit every day. It had its own room, crib, toys...I don't know if it had its own car seat.
I read a story about someone with one of those dolls who DID have a car seat for it. Left it in the seat while she went shopping, it was hot out, people thought it was a real baby and broke the window to save it.
I bet the lady was upset they broke her window. I've heard of that happening when people leave empty pet carriers in the backseat.
She sued the person who broke the window!

So today a plane at LAX came close to hitting a drone (I hate those fuckers). The news called it a near-miss.

If it were a near-miss, it'd be a hit, correct?

That phrase and how it's mis-used irks me.

JWP, the pics you posted didn't show but it could be just me.

    according to the wiki machine...
A near miss is an unplanned event that did not result in injury, illness, or damage – but had the potential to do so. Only a fortunate break in the chain of events prevented an injury, fatality or damage; in other words, a miss that was nonetheless very near.

but yeah, the phrase sounds ridiculous

How will my life change if I vow to only read books? No social media, no forums . . . just books, magazines, and newspapers like the old days. And only talk to friends and family in person, no more posts, just conversations. I feel like I've lost so many brain cells, and I never read real books any more. I waste hours a day reading shit on my phone. Every time I think about boycotting the new media, I find some reason to stay in. What would it be like to go off the grid?

Nami, that's one of the few songs (and specifically/ironically? the lyrics you wrote especially but also, no more crowbars to my head and leaf-trading - I consider "mine" - as in, personal, got me here, to this place and to this life. This perspective.

what dreams...I don't know I could do it permanently but the concept is enticing as hell.
