Man that would suck. I hope you resolve the matter quickly before she jeopardises your job.

I work with someone like that. She's nuts. The route I took was simply to talk to my boss completely honestly about the crazy shit the person was doing, and also documented every incident like this and keep the boss updated. Also, try to restrict communication to email if at all possible so that all of your conversations are recorded (or, and I know another person in the office who did this when dealing with a crazy co-worker, keep your phone on record in your pocket whenever talking to the person so that all conversations are recorded... just make sure this is legal where you live first). In other words, always make sure your ass is covered.

    Thanks for the support

Your tips are welcome and I did think of how I could protect myself.
But the thing is you really don't want to do that. it means negative energy.
But I have little choice. I will make back up files of everything I do.

I don't really worry about my job. My boss knows she's crazy. :D
It's just a shame he is on vacation for 10 days. So I'll have to wait until he gets back to talk to him about this situation.

My mom said the same thing about making sure I was covered.
There's just one little problem with that. I don't think like that.
So I can't really think off everything she might use. However I reckon that's mostly a good thing.
I wouldn't want my mind to work like her's does. B-)
I know, I don't think like that either. Even when my boss told me to keep records of everything with my nutjob, I have found that I don't usually remember to. It just doesn't seem to relate to my reality. And each time she gets the urge to pull something, it's just a little more crazy than the last time - how can you protect yourself from that?? But anyway, as long as your boss knows the person is nuts, you'll probably be okay.... it's the "you never know" part that is worrying though. I mean, even if the boss does know the deal, unless there is proof somehow, it will always just be your word against the crazy person's, and that doesn't seem so great.

I guess we should take it as a good sign that we can't put ourselves in sucha mindset. ;)
In the end it's really sad that she feels the need to do so.
I can't even begin to understand how insecure those people must be. :D
We both seem lucky enough to have the boss on our side, but weren't that the case it could get nasty real quick.

i had a similar experience. my brother called me one day and said, "do you remember skinny grandma? well, she died last week."
apparently she had been sick for a very long time and was back living in michigan. i had no idea.

    so sorry for your loss.

Yeah, I was actually told that my Grandmother died only 2 weeks after it actually happened just because I was living out of town for the summer, and my family forgot to tell me. The only reason I found out when I did was because I called home and was told that my Dad was in England for her funeral. [-X

I knew of her illness and that she was dying. My problem was that the day she died,I fiound out from my Nephew,That when my sister died 8 yrs. ago,She had been in a hospital that was 15 minutes away from me for three weeks, but I never got a phone call until two day's before she died, and then they led me to believe that she was in their hometown hospital. Absolutely heartbreaking for me.It's as if she died all over again.

our hospital system is changing electronic medical records systems from the jankass piece of crap we have now to something new. i am kinda happy, and kinda pissed about this. we have wasted 2 years trying to make this system useful and the hospital decided to pull the plug today. glad they wasted so much money on that piece of crap... this is money that could have been the bonuses for the employees that they froze 2 years ago...

My father bought me an 18 carret gold chain which I plan on changing because it pulls and rips my hair due to the design of the links, so im getting a bigger chain with bigger links that will do anything but pull my own hair...
