I got an email to say my vinyl was being shipped on September 22nd. Will it be here (London) for Christmas?
As much as I want to carry on buying things through the 10C, there's really not much point in doing it anymore. It costs more, you get less and you have to wait longer for it. It's my own fault for being too eager and ordering the cd and the lp when the pre-sales were announced I guess. I should have known that it wouldn't be worth having to pay 2 lots of shipping. I could have bought the vinyl locally weeks ago and for a lot less than the cost+shipping will work out to be. The hardback cd wasn't really worth the extra wait either, as the store-bought copies had the 2 downloads they were better value for money.
Oh well, lesson learned...
But Ed and the gang love you for it. Thats the consolation.

well it happened last time with the Avo, so i guess they didn't listen then. they probably won't listen now.
it's impossible to get it to everyone on release day, especially for international orders. unless they send it out 6 weeks before, which is not gonna happen.
It happened last time, this time and it will happen again.
I'm sure if they could work out a better way to ship it they will, but they must be aware of leaks because it costs wages to those who work hard to do it.

Why did Aus orders ship from NZ? I recon they were trying
Mine said it was shipped on the 19th Sept.
Perhaps they get shipped to New Zealand by bulk then get sorted then sent from there to Australia
to reduce the shipping costs for 10c.
I thought the shipping was dearer this time might be wrong, but was expecting better
packaging than ITW. Didnt have the bubble wrap like ITW.
Vinyl came today (Edmonton) it looks awesome. Problem is, I havent listened to it yet (except for Just Breathe) which they are playing on satelite radio all the time (Coffee house). Still have not received the CD I ordered from 10c back in July. Ok enough, bitching, you win. I'm buying it on itunes right now.

I haven't received my cd's yet either.... I'm in Saskatchewan... Also, just got my vinyl last week and it was damaged... Didn't have too much luck this time with my pre-orders... Oh, well.. it's giving me an excuse to order another vinyl... and keep it sealed... Collector's style....

I ordered a cell phone case and charger on ebay from hong kong. It arrived here in 6 days with free shipping. If that kind of service is possible, why can't the Ten Club get you your cd's in Canada within a month of the release date?
