    How do we know he really failed? Not exactly knowing what the real intent was for the people backing him.

    hmmm maybe youre right... yes maybe the whole point of the final solution was really so that the western nations would take pity on the jews, assuage their own guilt by atoning for their own gross negligence in allowing the aforementioned genocide to occur, allow them to visit upon another people what was visited upon them, with impunity and, dare i say the blessing of the "in god we trust" united states of america, and in doing so secure(and i use that term very loosely) themselves a homeland....

    I've enjoyed this thread. It's all over the place, China, mustaches... excellent.

    Hitler failed because like all egotistical maniacs he believed in his own invincabilty. He stretched his forces to the limit especially in invading Russia. He also didn't learn from history that people won't be suppressed, eventually they fight for freedom. All glorious empires have been defeated eventually no matter how long it took.

    And there was no way a civilised world was going to tolerate being forced to listen to German rock music, drink from ridiculously large glasses, eat sausage and it's women be forced to have hairy armpits.
