    How come when the Eagles are getting thier but handed to them, the Eagle fans who have been talkin trash stay away? I don't know why they come on this thread anyways!!! I was vacation over the holidays and had my cowboy cap on and the eagle fans that came up to me and talkin trash. I spoke to fans of other teams and had a reasonable conversations about football, including steelers fans, whoa have a right to talk trash, since they've won more super bowls.

    Why is Romo in the game? Philips is clueless.

    I'm not convinced the Eagles tried to play as hard as they could today knowing they would be playing Dallas indoors next week anyway which guarantees good weather and you know how impossible it is to beat a team 3 times in a single NFL season. Still, it was a series sweep this year. Plus, the D is on fucking fire right now. Keep it going.

    I don't buy the Eagles not trying today...they still had the chance for a No. 2 seed and a bye next week..so I don't buy that excuse.     How is it impossible to beat a team 3 teams in a season? Since the merger, 19 times teams have met where 1 has won the first 2, 12 times they win the 3rd (63 %).

    I agree, the Eagles wanted this win, a win by them and the number 2 seed and a bye next week. Bradshaw, Strahan and Long suggested that they didn't give it there all, I was waiting to hear johnson's response, of course they never let him voice his opinion on this game, the only one on that show who's opinion I respect. The Boys will just have to go out and do it next week, either way next week would have been tough, either the Eagle's or Cardinals in Arizona, I think Arizona has better receivers and a better O line, so either way next week was going to be tough, might as well be at home.

    Well it's not impossible to do obviously but ot is pretty hard especially in this matchup. I would expect a sharper and more aggressive Philly team next week. If we win handily then, I say we walk to the Superbowl.

    Yes it will be a tough matchup, going to play arizona would have been tough as well, I guess its better to be at home with a tough game. Several difference's I see from this team over 2007...the d is playing at a championship level...no to...Romo is playing at a high level, the 2 int he has thrown in the last 2 games were both deflected...going into the playoffs on a roll...healthier team.

    But there are no guarantees and if they don't play well, it's all for not.
