I agree w/the not paying for VIP (although you may pay $15-20 to park anywhere around the venue) Typically if there's alot going on no matter where you are, you'll be stuck in traffic. Also Flyers DO play 10-31 (hubby wants to go beofre show!?) but is afternoon game so may only add to traffic before show. So skip the extra $ for VIP & use it @ McFaddens "afterparty" till traffic clears-then it's allll goood!

oh no-sorry Dave!!!? Choking on the foot in my mouth yet again!? Too much caffeine again!? A better use of all your extra $ would be for raffle/auction & just hang-out after show till traffic clears-that's the way to go

Thank you so much for this video LOVE2ROCK - 13 yr old, RidinTheLedbetterRiff, will be rewatching it over and over in attempt to copy every one of Mike's licks as he thinks this song is incredible . His dream is to be able to jam with Mike someday and emulates his every move even trying to play behind his head.

As far as the parking, I was going to leave my car by the hotel and schlepp our stuff to the preparty using mass transit or "relying on the kindness of strangers" to give us a ride. I was told the transit runs until very late so we shouldn't have any problem getting back to the hotel after the show.

We will also be doing the Pearl Jam Lyrical Challenge at the Friday 10-30 and the Saturday 10-31 pre-parties.

We had a huge turnout for the game at the Chicago parties. So it looks like a hit. We will have a sign up sheet at the main tables. We wanted 3 teams of 5...but in Chicago we had 6 teams of 8.

Thanks to all who played and enjoyed it.

This sounds like a lot of fun!!! I'll be signing up! :D

I remember the shows in mansfield in 03..oh god..i was stuck in that parking lot for hrs at least 3...kinda like randalls island back in 96
Yeah, Mansfield is always like that, we usually just start a post-party in the parking lot or sleep in the car til the traffic clears (typically 2 hrs). I'm too cheap to pay for parking & too impatient to get in a stop-&-go line of traffic, so we just chill out. Randall's Island is the WORST tho, like a 4-5 hr friggin wait there! Thinking about parking has made me happy to be staying within walking distance

i cant take credit for that little diddy...i stole it from the touring band 2000 version of DTE (i think).

Petrocs should be reinstated Thursday some time, we hope! I dont have a Free the Petrocs 1 t shirt though :(
  • hey how we looking for grills? i have mine. if anyone else has one, we could piss off the vendors something fierce and sell some homemade cheesesteaks in the lots!!! donations could go right into the laura's cashbox!
I love to turn you on
  • WOW, cheesesteaks at the fundraisers would be awesome, Steve. If we can pull it off, I think it would be great but I'm not sure if there are strict requirements about food to the public - although we really are more like tailgaters. Great idea though.
