My 13 yr old son, RidintheLedbetterRiff, will be there Fri & Sat helping and I'm sure he'd love to meet and talk to folks his age about PJ and their views on the old and new music. Many other 10cers said they were bringing kids too. IMO the preparties are about the PJ fans giving back to the community and sharing our PJ experiences rather than a college keg party and are no worse than the shows in my experience. Just my .02 but helps ease your valid concerns.

Awesome, SOM. They are the gen 2 Jammers after all. The Fixer has him totally pysched as in his words 'Backspacer is his generations' PJ. He feels Evenflow is a remarkable live song due to McCready's wild, incredible riffs and the best part of the show'. He cannot understand how anyone doesn't feel it & leaves during this 'tube ride'. elwayvedder, I'll ask her but she's kinda PO'd cuz she didn't get the email when it was time to buy the student tickets! And they might be changing the student tickets to e-tickets that work on your student ID card instead of hard tickets. But don't quote me because I'm not sure about that!

Haven't booked flight yet- Wed. is my deadline to make a decision- eventhough I know it will be a yes. And I will def. be at the pre-parties, since I will be a lonely drifter for the weekend... The Spectrum doesn't mind people camping out in the parking lots, right?

So in my honest opinion, its not worth the extra money. The Spectrum only holds around 18k peeps. So we will all be stuck in traffic of 18k or we wont be, no matter the lot. Depending on what night we are talking about that is as the 76ers play at home on 10/30 and the Phillies may or maybe not playing on 10/31. I forget the Flyers schedule. Anyway, my point is, dont pay the extra $, park wherever or in Lot F if you come to the pre parties early and just enjoy the show!

Thank you so much for this video LOVE2ROCK - 13 yr old, RidinTheLedbetterRiff, will be rewatching it over and over in attempt to copy every one of Mike's licks as he thinks this song is incredible . His dream is to be able to jam with Mike someday and emulates his every move even trying to play behind his head.
As far as the parking, I was going to leave my car by the hotel and schlepp our stuff to the preparty using mass transit or "relying on the kindness of strangers" to give us a ride. I was told the transit runs until very late so we shouldn't have any problem getting back to the hotel after the show.
