  • Fuckin incredible game!!!! So happy for RR, and the program in general, after all the crap they went through. All those ND 3rd down conversions were torture, but Blue battled all game.

    Can Lou Holtz please shut the fuck up now?!

    Go Blue!

    I actually watched 1 hour of college football today and I never do

    one question:

    why were the Ohio State players lined up together and singing after they lost?

    seemed really bizarre

    Because it is part of the tradition that is The Ohio State University. I am sure some other schools do it to, but they sing the alma mater, along with the fans. They sing it win or loss, I guess to show they are a team, a family, a community (the team and the students and the alumni, etc.) no matter the result of the football game on that given day. I think it is something they started doing only a few years ago, when Jim Tressel became coach, but like I said, other schools may do it to, but it is mainly just to show, we are all in this together, through the good times and the bad, which is sort of like the lyrics to that particular alma mater (which also happens to be mine),...

    Oh, Come let's sing Ohio's praise,
    And songs to Alma Mater raise;
    While our hearts rebounding thrill,
    With joy which death alone can still.
    Summer's heat and Winter's cold,
    The season pass, the years will roll;
    Time and change will surely show
    How firm thy friendship -- O - hi - o.
    words seem so out of place.

  • College football makes fall Saturdays so much more enjoyable. The only thing I want to happen this year is Florida to lose. I absolutely cannot stand Tebow.

    I completely agree with this. Can't get though a broadcast of any game without hearing the name Tebow being said. Ahhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I don't like Florida. In fact, can't stand them. I can't say the same about Tebow. It's not his fault that his name is constantly mentioned. He seems like an all around good person who happens to be a great football player. Not too many people at his level give of themselves like he does. Furthermore, he could have signed a nice NFL contract but stayed in Florida.

    Go Irish!!! Beat Michigan!!!

    Tebow won't be much of anything in the NFL. He knows that. Everyone knows that....

    oh and..... Go Blue

    Wow sorry your day got ruined! I didn't see much tearing or Destroying inthose games... Go Blue!

    Are you telling me that Tebow won't make a nice income from in the NFL? Never said he would be great in the Pro's. Whats your beef with him anyway? He knows how to win the big games.

    Oh, USC won. Not surprised as the big 10 can't beat the major programs. As for the Michigan game. Notre Dame beat themselves. They were far superior to the blue. Penalties destroyed their chance.

    As a graduate and lifelong fan of LSU I agree with wanting Florida to get knocked off, hopefully by us. My big problem is with Tebow as well, but for a different reason. As a Tiger I always root for Florida to lose when not playing in the S.E.C., and as a rule the Gator QB is enemy #1. I really want to hate Tebow and watch him fail but for some reason I just can't. After watching interviews with him and reading stories on his life I can't help but like the guy. He’s just really a genuinely nice person. Don't get me wrong, on 10/10 I want him to lose by 40 or more points but other than that I hope he has continued success.

    I mean, the guy is a beast on the field, there's no argument against that. He is fun to watch when he's playing a team I don't root for.

    LSU didn't look too good yesterday against Vandy. Big step from last week when they played a team without a win last year. What a joke LSU is.

    Why does this matter? Would he have been a bad guy for going to the NFL? He's only take one joke class.

    all the scouts said at best he would be a 2nd-4th rounder and not a qb . he's more of a wildcat player. he. the gators play a soft schedule like always. they never schedule non conference teams that aren't to far away from florida. you think florida would ever play a team like ohio state or penn state. they are over rated in my book. play some teams that aren't cupcake wins.

    Don't really know what your second sentence means. I have respect for college athletes who return to school given the opportunity to go to the NFL. What is the purpose of College?

    2nd-4th round, that sucks. Why even consider the NFL. Please. The Gators do play a weak schedule and crush the teams they should. Ohio State squeaked by against Navy and lost to a non-big 10 team again. Penn State, let's see (Akron, Syracuse, Temple) Their players should be ready after those games. They have an extra three weeks to practice. The big 10 sucks..... How many bowl games did they win last year?
