"Then the Spirit of God hovered over the water, and God said, Let there be music, and there was Pearl Jam."

Whose idea was it for the word "Lisp" to have an "S" in it?

Management decided we have to plan our vacation time a year in advance, so Monday I need to have a list with all the time off I want for 2012. Come on PJ help me out, announce your US tour to include the south so I know which days to ask for ...pretty please with a slice of pecan apple pie on the side.

That's pretty ridiculous. Are you working for communists?

oh wait... you're in the south... of course you're not... :D
Houston, Texas... Believe it or not, there are 7 million people here... must be a couple of fans who'd love to see you play.
  • Bump for the south, we want a tour.

The South would never do that, we are a friendly bunch. :D

Play the South (after you figure out how to run a ticket sale)

The positivity in this thread has been awesome. You should all be commended.

But surely by now, everyone can agree that the South. is. fucked.

I salute you all. Save your pennies & your personal time. Maybe it will add up to one PJ show in a far-flung location three years from now.

You're most likely right. I'm either going to LA or NYC next tour bc I know they will play there and I have free places to crash in both spots. Preferably I'd make a few shows in Texas but I'm not expecting it by any means.

I'll probably go to CA if they tour there again..Went in 09 and this year and flights are pretty cheap..I also told myself I'd try to head to the NE this tour..I also told myself I was done traveling for PJ (I say this every year) so who knows.

Yeah I flew from DFW to LAX for like $200 round trip (with taxes) this summer. My closest friend lives literally across the street from the beach in Redondo Beach so I don't mind travelling to CA for that. :D

Not at all... a lot of request from Texans maybe, but not just for Texas. I think we will all be happy with a tour that includes the Gulf States and our neighbors. That's why it a 'Tour the Southern United States Thread', not a tour Texas thread. ;)
