I understand what she is trying to say... about the unrivaled natural beauty of the great Alaskan wilderness... but, what i DON'T understand is how do oil drilling rigs fit into that natural beauty? That Alaskan Wildlife looked alot better before that gunshot wound from a helicopter.

refresh my memory again, why is alaska so hard to govern now? how does its population compare to states like texas and california again?
she is a complete tool. i hate her because she makes mistakes and breaks the law and then blames the media for reporting it when she gets caught. that is a public office she held before she quit and she is accountable to that public. it is the public's right to know these things.
hey sarah barracuda, a few words of advice...if you do not want to be scrutinized, do not have a public life and do not be so ambitious. and do not use your kids as a campaign tool and example of how abstinence only education works when your own daughter gets knocked up.

Either you "see" the ineptitude and stupidity that comes out of her, or you don't. Hate has nothing to do with it. It's an objective assessment. Some people are smarter than others and some are not. It's a fact of life that we all live with. Those who see her as stupid and ill-equipped to run anything, much less a government, view her with brain power, not emotion.

Yeah I agree anyone who runs for office should be scrutinized, but not the treatment that she and her family have gotten.And I strongly disagree with you on her using her kids as campaign tools. So what she should have just left her kids at home

you feel sorry for people like me? why is that? because i can sift through people's BS when they say it? because i think with my brain and do my own research instead of doing what some political party tells me i should do or think? i should not have to tell you the laws she has broken, or been accused of breaking. they are a matter of public record so look it up if you want to know. she cited her legal defense bills as one of the reasons she left office early. if she has done nothing wrong then why are there so many ethics complaints against her? please answer me that one. surely it is not because she is so perfect that they have to try to dig something up on her to sabotage her career.. she has used campaign funds for clothes and travel expenses for one, which is not legal. she is also using money from her PAC for legal defense, which is also illegal. its funny how you call these ethics violations "mistakes". i am sure that any politician is adept enough at keeping themselves from getting caught redhanded then innocently claim a "mistake" or "oversight" when it is clearly an abuse of power. by the way, i am not perfect and i have never claimed to be. i make mistakes every day. another thing i am not is self-righteous, which so many people on your side are. sarah palin is one of the worst of them as well.
her family got alot of abuse, but every single bit or it was deserved and brought on by herself. she COMPLETELY used her kids as campaign tools. baby trig, "the special needs one", track the all american boy who was going to fight in the war, and bristol the willing teenage mom who "chose" to have her baby. give me a fucking break. it was a cold calculation to play to the women that could relate to her as a mother and a profesional, and a cold calculation to play on the "patriotism factor" but all of that was forgotten when she opened her mouth and everyone realized she was full of shit. you know me so well.... :roll: i would not have accused her of child neglect, i might have respected her for keeping her kids out of the spotlight. but when you are an opportunistic little slug trying to advance your political career like she was i can see why she might want to pull out all of the stops and expose her kids to that abuse.
the problem with your analogy about the antidrug speaker and the stoner kid is completely off base here. it is expected that that might be a possibility when that person speaks. what is not acceptable is when someone campaigning to be vice president, who should be held to a higher standard than an anti drug crusader, tells me how to live my life when she can't even convince her own daughter that sex and being a teenage mom is bad. get your own family's shit in line then try to talk to me.
