Philly Halloween Show Update

perhaps a grand finale show is in the works and they are still hammering out the details/performers

i hate to say it, but i'm starting to think this is the reason for such a delay. why else wait unless you're coordinating schedules for a bunch of different artists/bands?

i like optimism.
i have no great love for philly, i'm a NYer afterall ....but it's a nice enough city. add to it more than likely my only realistic shot of seeing pearl jam live this year and ya know what? i am loving philly more and more!


i've said it before, as of right now 10.30 is my one and only....if they add 10.31 would be my 30th show, and that just has such nice symmetry to it!

i feel in my heart this show is going to happen.

as to why the extended delay, only the elusive, mysterious Ten Club knows for sure.
frustrating, maddening and exciting all at the same time.

they know we are chomping about this one even moreso than others too.

everyone wants to make their plans, i know i sure would.
flights certainly aren't getting any cheaper.

I dont really have any grounds to give advice to anyone, but we went ahead and booked our tickets a few weeks ago after we got 10C tix for 10/30. United was having a special promotion at that time...20K miles for a roundtrip ticket at the times we wanted, so we took it. just didnt want to risk losing that deal and I'm glad we booked. if 10/31 doesnt happen, we can go hangout at a bar and watch the World Series/Halloween craziness or drive to Atlantic City. if you're getting a good deal and can afford to stay in Philly even if there is no show (I know $ and kids have to be considered for some people) I would take a deal on the flight.

yep...i'm there, hopefully dressed as a Mother Teresa at the Halloween show.

i have easily 30 pounds of just picked tomatoes at the moment.
not sure they'll last though. they've gone nuts in the last week.

and, holy shit!
our tomatoes have not done so great this year - too much rain!
we've got quite a few, tho not as many as usual....and they all are still quite green. we had 2 that ripened, but i let the dogs each have one as they think they are candy!

idk what i would dress up as for halloween. not a big fan of halloween if i am perfectly honest, so haven't done so for years. last time, ooo....before we even married, and we were mickey and minnie mouse. my husband never lived that down. :P i'll have to give it some thought, especially b/c i got hot at concerts too....but hell, if a costume is what is needed to make this show happen, i'm IN!
