Does it not occur to some you clowns that most of the band members are now dads and they might just want to do the Halloween routine the proper way and spend it with their kids. It is very possible that they never had any intention to do a show on 10/31, but that the rumors just went so wildly viral that nobody could differentiate between fact and fiction anymore.

Enjoy 10/28 and 10/30. They're gonna be ripping!!!

Usually I give people a 50-100 post grace period before I start calling them clowns....hehehehe

And once you have reached 100 posts.....Well then the real name calling and insults start to flow....heheheh

as to all of us "clowns"....um, yea, it did occur to us. however, given all the rumors and speculation, gotta run with it too!

the reason i think that there is still hope is that there are rumors of additional west coast shows floating around too... hopefully they are just waiting to do one announcement.

they have all of october between ACL and philly, sure to fill that time with SUMTHIN'.


and i am of the school of thought that 10c would eventually let us know that it is or isn't happening, so the fact that we continue to speculate, thread is still here, no news is good news too...;)

and there are still tickets left for the show on the 28th
wouldn't surprise me if the announcement is contingent upon the other shows selling out

and i call bullshit on that. sure, there are tickets left...but just how many, and WHERE are they located? yea....exactly. i highly doubt an additonal date(s) hinges on THAT, more than likely, other factors. it may or may not happen, who knows....all speculation and hope....but i just don't believe, especially a saturday night show that WOULD sellout, is all held up soley b/c there are 100 nosebleed seats leaft on the 28th.

could be in the contract, who the hell knows, just saying that it works that way sometimes-regardless of the seat locations

Ok yeah, we get leaked information before 10c provides it, but I do think KAT would step in and tell us all to go get a life if there was NO WAY this show was happening. The fact that none of the mods have stepped in doesn't mean the show will definitely happen, but I think it means it might.

I would give a little credence to this post if it were not for the fact that the band will be in Australia and New Zealand for Thanksgiving which is more of a family holiday than Halloween.
