I think Dunk mentioned going to IndigO2 after the show.
As for the The Ha Ha Bar... apparently they have beer offers... on NON gig days :?
I don't know about the queues for the presale tickets. I know it was bad for NIN but that could've been down to NIN's people rather than the O2. I wasn't planning on staying late at The Market Porter, I don't have a problem drinking there for the majority of the day, checking into the hotel around 3, getting presale tix (dependant on when we can) and then going to the Ha Ha Bar just before the gig to minimise spending costs in there.
My main concern is the size of the joint :? Mind you, I suppose we could spread out around the pubs inside the O2... I dunno.
I feel sorry for the poor sods who are going to The Ha Ha Bar for dinner that night! Can you imagine what it will be like when hundreds of Pearl Jam fans turn up
Underneath this smile lies everything........... all my hopes, anger, pride and shame
Right. I'm thinking Market Porter for those who want to start drinking early, then hotel check in and ticket pick up (around 3pm dependant on check in times and tenclub ticket release time - plenty of time for queueing if necessary) and then back to the HaHa Bar or alternative pub in le O2?
The person who suggested this to me has offered to email the HaHa Bar and let them know we're coming if needs be.
Been to this many PJ shows: Reading 2006 London 2007 Manchester & London 2009 Dublin, Belfast, London, Nijmegen & Berlin 2010 Manchester 1 & Manchester 2 2012...
... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.
Sounds good. I don't see myself going too far after ticket pick-up and I won't be on a session anywho
We have a taker!
I do think that maybe it's the best idea... people WON'T want to stray far after ticket pick up and I doubt many people will be a huge sesh... we just need to get the majority to agree :?

sounds about right, though there's something going on at Bank and there's no connection (on foot) between Bank and somewhere... might be Monument, but you might want to check on the TfL website just to make sure.
Oh yeah? Well, I've had about enough of morons and halfwits, dolts, dunces, dullards and dumbbells - and you chowderhead yokel, you blithering hayseed, you - you've had enough of me?

Yer its Monument Tower Hill I think, I dont think it will affect anyone traveling to the hotel? I hope not anyway.
Well I will goto the bar in the 02 then, sounds like the best plan. That way Im never really having to travel more than 35 mins between places

No no, we had decided but people were (understandably) getting worried about the travel from The Market Porter for pre-sale ticket pick up. I should think that this will be the final decision to be honest. I'm just waiting for more people to say 'yay' and then i'll edit posts and put up final plans.
I'm just trying to accomodate everyone's tastes, plans and opinions here.

On another note, where are ppl meeting in Manchester. I wont be in Manchester till 4pm, whats best would you say, Im queuing for 10c tickets in Manchester
if there IS going to be a looooong queue to pickup tickets then might be better to go to one of the pubs/bars in the O2...?
the Harry Potter pub sounds nice... but it'll be a lot nicer once i know i have my ticket in my possession...
did you get a ticket??
for Manchester and the O2, yes...

Most people are staying in the Travelodge or surrounding hotels so we're all central. We're meeting in a pub called The Moon Under Water in Deansgate before the show. It's close to the venue (the venue is in the centre of Manchester so minimal problems) and because it's a cheapo Wetherspoons, it's being used for the meet up on the Sunday night so most people will know where it is Most people will probably go to pick up pre-sale tix from there and then return to le pub.
The details, address etc are in the Manchester Roll Call thread

The HaHa bar seems to have reasonably priced wine.. since it's what I drink pre-GA shows (bathroom trips on a GA floor are not a good idea)
