After first listen i don't like it at all. Had it on somewhat low volume but... didn't have anything interesting in it.

Can't understand how people hate Riot act but dig this.

But that's my first imopression, willl ove it by the 5th listen.

To me, when something is bored, you put a little excite on it, 'cited is past tense....just doesn't fit.
I hear promise and I don't see how digging your grave fits into the upbeat feel of the song, but I guess we'll know when the lyrics are published. Definitely good job everyone! I've never learned a song's lyrics that fast!!

the thing is where does burn fit in to the message? the whole thing he's saying...i'll hope we get though this, i'll take your side when we are having a fight, i'll find a way to get us out of this lull in our relationship." that's the first half of the bridge line by line

I think it's to his children. He's the daddy which means if something ain't right, he's the fixer. imo.

imo burn as a way makes most sense, but promise a way still sounds the closest to what i'm hearing. I just don't see it as find us.

perhaps it's a general meaning sort of song...it's not a metaphor for anything at all...you can relate it to a troubled relationship, promising your children a good life, hell it could be the economic crisis too!

it's one of those songs that work for any similar situation
