    After first listen i don't like it at all. Had it on somewhat low volume but... didn't have anything interesting in it.

    Can't understand how people hate Riot act but dig this.

    But that's my first imopression, willl ove it by the 5th listen.

    To me, when something is bored, you put a little excite on it, 'cited is past tense....just doesn't fit.
    I hear promise and I don't see how digging your grave fits into the upbeat feel of the song, but I guess we'll know when the lyrics are published. Definitely good job everyone! I've never learned a song's lyrics that fast!!

    the thing is where does burn fit in to the message? the whole thing he's saying...i'll hope we get though this, i'll take your side when we are having a fight, i'll find a way to get us out of this lull in our relationship." that's the first half of the bridge line by line

    imo burn as a way makes most sense, but promise a way still sounds the closest to what i'm hearing. I just don't see it as find us.

    perhaps it's a general meaning sort of song...it's not a metaphor for anything at all...you can relate it to a troubled relationship, promising your children a good life, hell it could be the economic crisis too!

    it's one of those songs that work for any similar situation

    Meh... Could care less about the new song. Have listened a few times now and simply don't like it. Just tooo pop sounding and mainstream. Bland and boring. Oh well, each their own right?...

    +1 for promise...and he does say "when something's bored, I wanna put a little excited on it" but he quickly says the "ex" part. Just for clarification...

    If you dont believe me, put on some headphones and listen.

    I love the song and am very happy that Mr. Brendan O' Brien is back. I love the feel of the song on my ears.

    Got Some and The Fixer both sound, like someone put earlier, refreshing!

    For the longest time, I used to think the "Saw things" part at the end of Rear-view mirror was "Soy Beans", don't ask me why, lol. Eddie isn't the easiest person to interpret...
