as i was informed by 10C when i called them for clarification, and i quote: "the release indicating no lottery would be in place for the Toronto and Chicago concerts should have been ignored. the lottery system has been in place since the '08 tour and will remain in place indefinitely, which is reflected in the ticketing policy posted on the 10C site."
and there you have it,...
To quote the 10C from Newsletter #8: "Please understand we have a lot of members and it is very hard to please everybody. If you are one of those unhappy people...please call 1-900-IDN-TCAR."

That is not the point. The email clearly stated by senority and now after they sell out the tickets they change the rules. That isn't a cool thing to do to someone who is a 17 year member.
I would love to see one of the low 10c number people (normally row 1 or 2) get randomly selected for the lottery and get stuck in 9 or 10...that would be funny...
So wait if someone usually sits in the 5th row you could be pushed back to the 9th or 10th row?? So they do the lottery for low numbers 2? Thats crazy! Thats not nice cause it puts us back some rows.Sometimes also i ended up with 20th row 14th row before and not always 5th.Anyway that doesnt even matter as long as im in the show but, i am mad that the ten club decides to tell us 2 months before different information taht is was only by senority. Also one time forgot the year the united center screwed up the fan club tickets like the grand rapids show. i wasnt at the grand rapids show but, i know people got shut out of the good seats. hopefully the united center ticket window people are awake and know what to do cause if they screw it up people will be mad again! Also they should just do it the old way through the mail to get the tickets..theres so many internet problems with people trying to get tickets. Also instead of the lottery they should say each member picks only one show so the same people arent in front row(im thinking thats why they did the lottery but, thats kind of a stupid ). Thats how it should be done but, who am i to say. But, being an old fan club member i only had good seats 4 times out of the years. I dont really care if im in the first 10 rows but, being short its kinda hard to see. ah well hope its all going to be good. lets hope and pray!

they really need to make a sticky, and/or post this info clearly on the ticketing page.
no, no, no, no. they have stated that NO member will 'win' rows 9 or 10 if they usually sit in BETTEr seats. so those people will be in the lottery for rows 1 and 2 only. people who normally sit back after row 10 will be in the lottery for rows 1, 2, 9 and 10. and completely RANDOM......ANY 10c member in attendance can win. so everyone has an equal chance of winning.
and we ALL get pushed back either 2 or 4 rows, to accomodate the lottery rows. so we all give a litte. so we all have a chance....and some lucky few get the experience!
Again you think after all the bullshit that happens some one like Hello Tim or Kat would just come on here and state their missleading advertisement to the shows mentioned here ,if we were suppososed to ignore their innitial statement how were we supposed to fucking know that by what just thinking out loud ? it was their mistake 10C should of stated that again some of the suff that 10c pulls you just have to shake you're head at ,just put a statement out there from this point forward to the end all tour tickets will have lottery in place damm is that so hard ........
I bought based on this being by senority as the email stated. Changing the rules after getting people's cash is low and not something I would expect from Ten Club. I've been a member since 1992. This is how people are treated?
Really? If it had stated that the lottery system was in place, you wouldn't have bought tickets? I have a hard time believing that. I see your point, but it sounds like a pretty trivial complaint to me....row 3 or 4? I'm sure people that have never had 10C seats in the first 10-20 rows are really  at you...
I honesty don't care what they think of me. I'm not able to go to all of the shows like some people so when I can I do base my purchase on the statements I'm being told. If I had the liberty to go to multiple shows I wouldn't care so much. So yes I saw seniority and decided that I wanted to try for it. Now we are being told the terms have changed. That is not right, no matter what your number is. If I order a chicken sandwich from a restaurant and then when they deliver pork I should just deal with it because it is tasty? I think not. We are still paying customers who were told one thing and now it is another.
BTW, I've been in the back rows too, in the beginning when you couldn't buy a ticket because it sold out in minutes. I've paid my dues to get great seats. That is the problem with youth today, nobody ever tells them no instead they get cookies just to shut them up. There are no winners or losers, no keeping score in the sports games because we don't want to hurt little Billy's feelings because he didn't put the time in to practice so he sucks.
Oh at the last Chicago show when I was row 2 I had to leave because of a work matter. So I walked to the very last row on the floor and gave my ticket to the guy standing there. I'm sure he had a good time.

It doesn't work that way. If your seats are normally 1 and 2 and you don't get 1 and 2 you get best after... you don't have a random shot at 9 and 10.
please could kat or sea confirm they changed this to a lottery or not. If its true why did they change what was said a month and a half before the chicago shows? Thank you and also could you let us know if the lottery will be like this forever ? If it did change and there is a lottery could you please write it on your site somewhere? thanks

yes, according to 10C we should have simply ignored the initial announcement that made no mention of the lottery since the lottery was always in place apparently. and yes, according to 10C the lottery will remain in place indefinitely. the lottery policy is mentioned in the 10C ticketing page,...
