You've said it well my friend!

I had fun in Cinci in '06...nothing like pissing in the garbage can so I didn't miss much Long Road! And, I was quite impressed with the fellas sitting next to us rocking out...they definitely didn't look like your typical PJ fan...

No they weren't your typical PJ fan. And yes they sure did rock out. My knees were hurting for days from jumping so much during that show. I think it was the whisky. :D

and I guess that would also mean that if all of the people here would also want them to play here (well in Alpine Valley which is VERY close to me--well 2 1/2 hours so not too bad----I've traveled there for concerts before), then we would possibly be able to form a meet there type of thing for all who would be going........

    yeah!!!

are they like different seats from the general ones? like I have heard some people talk about being in the first few rows because they got ten club seats. Is that the same thing?

I have never been to one, so I don't know anything about it other than what I have heard, so please excuse my cluelessness.

After driving from Milwaukee to Madison last night, Via Beloit and passing several exits for East Troy...

I'm left wondering when will Pearl Jam announce the dates that they will be playing there?

Maybe they're waiting for the water to recede and all the roads to open to make sure that the traveling is easy for those of us headed to the show.

PLAY ALPINE VALLEY in '08!! please

I was thinking about this the other day while I was sitting outside admiring the sunset on a beautiful summer evening. I thought it would be wonderful to be sitting outside at Alpine Valley waiting for PJ to take the stage.

I'm hopeful we won't have to wait too long! Maybe another cool October evening!
    Cheers!

    Cold ass nite???

That was a cold ass day!!!

That was back when tickets were in blocks and we had to stand in line for 10+ hours.

I was in the worst position because I had a borderline number... sometimes I would stand all day and find out I was in block two and sometimes block three if I remember correctly.

I stood outside in a flannel shirt and jeans from eight in the morning till about 11 pm that day.

    I'll never forget it!

RVM closer.... was the shit, I wish PJ would close with stuff like RVM, Porch, Alive, Betterman more often. Not my favorites but I would love to see/hear these songs with the house lights up.

I sat in the lawn with some friends for that show, the cold didn't bother me one bit! I was jumping around with just a long sleeve shirt with the sleeves rolled up. I remember my mom not wanting me to go, she was going to buy my tickets off of me for more than what I paid just to keep me from going. I knew I would have regretted taking the money, and I'm so glad I went because it was a very memorable experience.

It wasn't as bad on us as it was for the band....I can't imagine frozen figures on guitar strings...ouch. Just watched Dissident from the touring band dvd the other night.

It was fucking cold....simple as that.
