Hotel Offer for anyone travelling to Seattle for shows

Ok, so I work at a hotel very close to Key Arena. I had heard the rumors just like everyone else. I approached my boss about getting a rate approved before the announcement. Now that is is official (!!!), here is the deal...

For anyone coming into town for the shows, we have a special rate set up. You have to call the hotel directly to get the rate, and tell the person taking the reservation that you want the "Pearl Jam Key Arena" rate. (we set this up to include the weekend before the shows in case anyone wants to make a vacation out of the shows).

$94 per night plus tax for 1-4 people occupying room
includes free deluxe continental breakfast(eggs, meat, waffles, cereal, yogurt, pastries, lots more)

This rate is good for September 18, 19, 20, 21, 22 until we sell out. please note, the Yankees are in town to play the Mariners that weekend, so those days have less availability than Monday and Tuesday

if you want to come through the following weekend instead, let me know, and I will get those dates opened up as well.

this is a good rate for the area. our normal rate for those nights is $129 for 1-2 persons.

also, if anyone could point me in the direction of whoever organizes the Wishlist pre-parties, we have a pretty large room attached to the hotel bar that could be used. (even has a big screen tv that could probably be hooked up to a dvd player for viewing during the party).

i hope it doesnt look cheesy for me to come on here an advertise this. obviously, i am a 10club member because i can post here (#187***). i know that people like to try and stay in the same place, and i am just glad i could get a good rate for everyone.

now.....just need to get tickets :shock:

    Stay away from Seattle. Nothing but a bad time over here!!! (or at least stay away if you have a low 10C # :lol: )

    im dying to go but none of my friends are as hardcore as me.

    we can even go to the emp and eat ice cream before the show.
    i have a paper here that entitles me to fast track status

    if any of you went to the party in 2002 the day between the showbox and key arena shows... it's the same hotel were we met up for some drinks before the hillarious grunge cover band show.

    i don't work at the hotel, but have been there many times...

    the bar is good size...not sure of capacity though with the attached banquet room. i know mensane is out of town for the next week, but i'm sure she'll get back to you with specifics if you send her a pm...might be in a week or so. (but by then people will know who has tix and will be going to the shows)

    it is a great hotel...great location. a couple blocks from the key...basically across the street from EMP, seattle center, carnival rides, and metro bus service. and ya can't beat the price with a stick!

    (also for vegetarians/vegans... the bamboo garden an amazing vegan chinese place is a short walk away...it's kosher too.)

    This is awesome!!! Is it close walking distance ??? If i decide to get tickets i will probably book their, unless you guys know of anything else to choose from, i have never been to Seattle!!!

    I was trying to find out how close the Hotel was, that is in this thread and stumbled on this...

    Has anyone noticed that you can purchase tickets allready, look at the price!!
