I didn't vote for McCain nor did I vote for Obama, because I don't like any of the four that were represented in those camps. I just think the attacks on her and her family are unjustified. It doesn't mean that I am voting for her.
Nah, she puts herself out there - she is as open to public criticism as anyone else in the public eye. Not anyone's but her own fault that she is such an easy target with incredibly thin skin. And, that she has shown her weakness, that is having thin skin. Politicians should show no weakness or that weakness will get exploited by those who do not agree with you. And, she doesn't help her own case when she babbles nonsense and tries to pass them on as sensible fact.

You can't be serious. What do you like about her as a presidential candidate?

Trust me, she will be scared away long before the left can officially get a hold of her.

But seriously, what has she ever said that made you think, 'yeah, she would make an outstanding president of the US'?

i think it might be her "folksy" delivery and style. i think people might be a little more supportive of someone that makes them feel smart. maybe the average voter is intimidated by an articulate and well spoken leader and would prefer to be "talked up to" as opposed to talked down to. to be honest, like bush, to hear her speak makes me cringe. i feel like a 1st grader sitting through "story time" whenever palin or bush speaks.

she has said nothing that has ever made me think she would be a credible candidate, let alone an average to good one.

Ummmm- in all honesty - it's kinda hard to "pinpoint" the exact thing. I think Bush was the right President for 9-11. I shudder to think what Obama would have done.......but that's just a "hypothetical" scenerio. I think Bush got kind of lazy - especially his last year or two. But in all honesty I'm not "into" the Obama" "Apology Tour." And I still believe in the "American Dream" - while it lasts.

What do you think Obama or Gore would've done in response to 9/11 that would have been so horrible?? and in comparison what do you think Bush did so right??

we never even caught the guy they say did it, in fact Bush said he didn't even think about him. this is, of course, AFTER he says "bring it on!! now watch this drive heh heh heh"

as far as i can see all the Bush administration accomplished was wasting a lot of lives on both sides, taking us from a surplus to debt, poisoning 2 countries with DU rounds (medical studies show birth defects tend to increase by hundreds of % in areas we've dropped them in the past), destroying our standing.....

    ahem.....

i am really curious about this. it was so annoying to hear it said about Gore for years, i just wonder what people think Gore or Obama would've done that would've been so catastrophic?

wow that's pathetic and you consider your self a liberal ? I wonder.. if she was a democrat would you feel the same way ? Keep it classy ;)

well stupid and backwards is not very politically correct however she is most definitely incompetent, unqalified and corrupt ... that has been shown and proven - only the truly partisan would not see that ...

i don't care if she is a republican or democrat - that is the problem with partisan people - everything they believe in is based on one or two letters ... think independently and think objectively ... if you do so - how can you not see she was unqualified to be vp ... then again - people voted for bush soo ...

well ... it's all over the news ... a simple search would show that she's been investigated several times for various abuses of power ...

as for incompetence - just look at every interview she's done ... her ignorance on topics doesn't make her incompetent - what makes her incompetent is that when told by experienced advisers that she needs to bone up on foreign affairs and other key issues - she chose to ignore them and go on a nationally televised interview unprepared ... it can be said that mccains campaign derailed right after her interview with katie couric ... she also went on SNL where she was being made fun of on live tv and she didn't even know it ... at least she didn't go on Letterman ...

I don't think that she's necessarily corrupt... or any more so than the average politician, but she has A LOT of knowledge to gain before she can even think of a run for the presidency.

From her speeches sounding like talking points mad-libs to her incredibly thin skin when it comes to playing the victim to her ignorance about foreign policy, she is definitely not ready for any higher office.

She seems to thrive on media attention, so I can see her becoming a financially successful personality in politics, but I can't see her ever getting any further in an elected office.

    .

notwithstanding troopergate - she collects a per diem for travel even tho all ethics legislation prevents her from that ... the only reason she hasn't been found guilty is because the legislature is full of her cronies and backers ... i wouldn't be surprised if she stepped down simply from facing all the complaints and investigations that are before the various committees ...

Sara Palin deserved the treatment she received, and if she wanted the media to leave her family alone, she should have left them at home. She used them as a political tool, and got what she asked for. Remember dragging her young daughter to that hockey game where she was booed? I would not subject my children to that, and if up to that point I didn't know any better, that would have taught me to leave them at home. And, by the way, I guess it was OK to say Barack and Michelle Obama were Muslim terrorists, performing secret "terrorist fist jabs". :!:

I find it interesting that she thinks of herself as the best known governor since when. Now she's tired of the spotlight, she creates her own spotlight with some of the things she says.

So now she's going let a late night comedian influence her life please, if she wanted to protect her kids then leave them at home instead schlepping them out on the campaign trail. They needed to be in bed to go to school the next day.

Normal people who are these normal people she speaks of, everyone worries about their families so why should you become President. To become President is hard work and sacrifices some good some bad it comes with the job so suck it up and do the job of governor you worked so hard for.

It wasn't just Letterman, it was the entire left wing media. If you cant see that for what it is then I don't know what to tell you. and I guess Obama and Biden was schlepping their daughters to then since they did the same thing as the Palins did.
