Sara Palin deserved the treatment she received, and if she wanted the media to leave her family alone, she should have left them at home. She used them as a political tool, and got what she asked for. Remember dragging her young daughter to that hockey game where she was booed? After the campaign, one late night talk show host made a crack about her pregnant daughter, who she paraded all over the country as an example of pro-life political values. She used her daughter as a talking point, she can't complain when other people make light of it. And PALIN was the one who went all over the country bragging about how noble she was for having a down syndrome baby... point me to ANY pundit or blogger or news source or comedian or talking head or politician or anything that EVER said anything negative about her baby. I think that it's the playing the victim thing that annoys me the most about Palin... from her faux outrage turning this shot against a talk radio guy somehow an attack on special needs children, turning Letterman's joke about Bristol into a guy who is advocating the rape of a 14 year old, to the whole way back to the lipstick on a pig thing, etc etc etc... She seems to thrive on attention and doesn't miss a chance to put herself in the spotlight (and in the victim role).
