This post is really NOT directed to anything YOU've said. However - this websight would not accept my trying to quote "Avatar" Humphrey.........so....Hey Humphrey.......Stop "Bogarting" that weed you are obviously smoking! I would love to see how any of you would handle your own family/children being scrutinized so harshly. I think I personally would feel compelled to beat the shit out of each of ya. I believe in Sarah. I can't wait to see what her next step is. I support her
Wow, I've def. seen people get banned for saying much less than that!

You are a WEAK individual. I'm done exchanging commments with you now.
if you think that america has no reason to apologize for the way we have treated other countries and bullied them under bush then you are "an IGNORANT individual." i love my country, but i am just as quick to recognize and acknowledge its shortcomings as i am to brag about its accomplishments. it is called being analytical and a critical thinker. do you ever wonder why we are so hated? believe me, it ain't because of our freedom. i do not have the "america fuck yeah rah rah rah" attitude that so many on the right have. i tend to be a little more modest i guess. bravado and cowboy diplomacy gets you nowhere. a little empathy and understanding goes a long way.

How DARE you insult someone like that just because they are intelligent enough to think for themself and have valid insight into world events. I think he's demonstrated just the opposite, that he's STRONG, particularly in intellect.
What a bringdown your post is so early in the morning. You should be ashamed of yourself for making remarks like that when people are trying to have an intellectual discussion. :?~I want to realize brotherhood or identity not merely with the beings called human, but I want to realize identity with all life, even with such things as crawl upon earth.~

I shudder to think what Obama would have done.......but that's just a "hypothetical" scenerio. I think Bush got kind of lazy - especially his last year or two. But in all honesty I'm not "into" the Obama" "Apology Tour." And I still believe in the "American Dream" - while it lasts.
What do you think Obama or Gore would've done in response to 9/11 that would have been so horrible?? and in comparison what do you think Bush did so right??
we never even caught the guy they say did it, in fact Bush said he didn't even think about him. this is, of course, AFTER he says "bring it on!! now watch this drive heh heh heh"
as far as i can see all the Bush administration accomplished was wasting a lot of lives on both sides, taking us from a surplus to debt, poisoning 2 countries with DU rounds (medical studies show birth defects tend to increase by hundreds of % in areas we've dropped them in the past), destroying our standing.....don't compete; coexist

Honestly I was not following politics to much back then < but I did hear O'Reilly mention a few times how the right was brutal when it came to her,But What I meant was that the attackscoming from the left have been horrible. And what I don't understand is none of these so called femenist organizations stuck up for her. It has been nothing but a double standard b/c if she was a dem. and the right was attacking her like the left has the femenist groups would have been outraged

The only reason good old Geraldine came to her defense was because she was still pissed off at the Obama campaign.

Watching the press coverage of the Republican candidate for V.P. It's sometimes hard to decide whether Sarah Palin is incompetent ,stupid, unqualified, corrupt, backwards,or all of the above.

WOW! The media is saying quite a bit maybe there's something to what they're saying. Good luck convincing.

That's your opinion. and if you 2 are so smart why don't you go run for governor of your state. why don't you go and research all the money she saved Alaskan tax payers. She 's got way more experience then Obama ever had. when it comes to politics.0

Yeah, with her socialist agenda she did...
For her part, Sarah Palin, who has lately taken to calling Obama “Barack the Wealth Spreader,” seems to be something of a suspect character herself. She is, at the very least, a fellow-traveller of what might be called socialism with an Alaskan face. The state that she governs has no income or sales tax. Instead, it imposes huge levies on the oil companies that lease its oil fields. The proceeds finance the government’s activities and enable it to issue a four-figure annual check to every man, woman, and child in the state. One of the reasons Palin has been a popular governor is that she added an extra twelve hundred dollars to this year’s check, bringing the per-person total to $3,269. A few weeks before she was nominated for Vice-President, she told a visiting journalist—Philip Gourevitch, of this magazine—that “we’re set up, unlike other states in the union, where it’s collectively Alaskans own the resources. So we share in the wealth when the development of these resources occurs.” Perhaps there is some meaningful distinction between spreading the wealth and sharing it (“collectively,” no less), but finding it would require the analytic skills of Karl the Marxist.0 -

Well PerfectLefts I'm not perfect and I did say maybe and maybe you're the one that's very smart here. Somewhere in this very entertaining thread I did say I liked her just not running this country. Especially after what we've had for the last 8 years, why take a chance on something as hideous as our last administration.
Again Good Luck

let me ask again: what did the "media" do to Sarah...? what I mean is, they simply reported her comments and actions....how is that attacking her...?
as for the quotes listed by Mr. York...I happen to agree with most if not all...Palin likes to portray herself as a victim...she's not...she chose to run for public office, therefore she open herself up to commentary...if she can't handle the job, which obviously she can't because she's quit, then she should not have taken or sought the job...0 -

You don't see many on the left rushing to the aid of Nancy Pelosi. Why? Because her views are as out there as anything Palin espouses. The feminist orgs have not stood up for Palin because nobody has made sexist comments about Palin. All criticism of her has been based completely on her stances on issues and conducts as a candidate and politician. Nobody has ridiculed her for being ugly or mannish (criticisms levelled at Chealsea and Hillary). Palin has been targeted because of her policies, not because she is a woman or even a republican. She has been targeted because she is espousing the same kind of absurd approach to governance that Bush used over the last 8 DISASTROUS years.0
