Seriously, Bush kept spending OUR money- 8 years of spending and leaving us in a world of hurt. We, the American people, are hurting- and people are looking to the gov't to make it right. Obama is not a Socialist, but when everyone is looking to him to solve the problems, then he is going to TRY to make it work.

Again, it did not take us 6 months to get in this situation- it was 8 years of bullshit. it will take a year or 2 to TRY to make a headway in this mess. Obama is not passing the buck- he is owning it and we should let him try for a bit of time before we can say- he's full of shit.

Bush definitely did some damage but Obama has quadrupled the debt in just 6 months. Obama is passing the buck alright. Right to the taxpayer and on down to next two generations. Could someone please explain to me why this isn't socialisim,

I agree with you - That Chris Farley was awesome! I still watch his movies because they make me laugh! And I agree to disagree with anyone. I will still like ya. Of that you can be sure of.

To keep this relevent to the original poster - I can't stand Stuart Smalley....being a Senator. However - Chris Farley's skit I Live In A Van Down By The River" was always my favorite. Well - that is -Until I recently became re-introduced to Air Quote Guy - now my NEW favorite! Ha! Very funny!!!

Please let me explain. (IMO) Obama definately exhibits Socialist tendencies (which he probably got from his radical-left mother and even-more-radical-left-wing professors). His idea of good economics is Soak The Rich. He has proven himself equally unimaginative in other areas as well. Yet, he has been somewhat inconsistent. For example, he didn't treat the UAW with expected kindness during the recent troubles with GM and Chrysler. They actually had to make major concessions - which is totally Un-Socialistic. Rather, I believe that Obama is more of a classical fascist. His actions with the banks, the Fed, and the Automobile industry or more in keeping with Mussolini's "Corporate State." than with anythin Marx and Engels had in mind. The he seems to be imitating the Europeans, he really dislikes Europe and has no understanding of their system or what makes it function. Also he doesn't seem to have a grasp on East Asia either - even though he spend part of his childhood in Indonesia. Before going to Moscow, I think he should have gone first to Beijing.but NOT Obama! Being whom he is - it's no wonder he ended his final stop where he did. More fascisim tendancies.
