I'm not a huge fan of Obama, but he did inherit the mess we are in now. He chose to step-up and become president, and now has to deal with whats going on. He's been in office less than 7 months, and definitely could not have created this deficit we have now in that time. Bush's "war" on Iraq and his mismanagement of the gov't created a huge deficit.

we are in this mess because of Bush and his administration. If I'm not mistaken, Clinton left office with almost a clean slate for the next prez.

I can see it now........... 3 1/2 years from now............" New York Time..........Obama..."I STILL "Inherited" this mess." It's about time he "man-Up." It's gotten old.

Bush blamed 9/11 on Clinton in Sept. So Obama at least gets until then to keep the blame on Bush for the economy.

he did inherit this mess and it may take into a second term to fix everything your guy fouled up, or even worse NEGLECTED to prevent. it is not an overnight process. he has had 6 months in office. give the guy a break. you can't fix everything in 120 days.

***edit due to my inability to spell "NEGLECTED"....

Right now .....I truly don't know. (And quit treating me like I'm a "Repubulican!) I want "Change" too. Just Not a "Facist" one.

i have no idea what your quotes are supposed to mean. ar ethey for sarcasm? even so i can not debate with you when you do not make a clear point. first off, who are you calling a facist? secondly, if you like palin and you say you are not a republican, what does that leave, an independant maybe? she prepresents all of the old tired ideas of the gop and she was on the gop ticket so forgive me for making that assumption.

Oh my Gosh - Somedays I really hate this websight - can't quote more than three respnses" etc..Yaada, yaada, yaada.
Anyway -sorry for all of my quotes. Apparently they have become a huge joke (like other on this websight).. Listen people. I do not support Obama's Policies. I've referred to him as a Socialist (as I was trying to be kind) He is more of a Fascist. So was Hitler. I DO NOT like BIG GOVERNMENT and never will. I also don't like having 34 Czars that weren't vetted. He is trying to get around the system. He is sneaky. I don't trust him. Neither should you. You all think Bush was bad. You haven't seen anything yet.

I've gotten quite tired of arguing with you Leftists. My Boy Bushy. Don't call a man a boy - BOY. I can't wait until you eat your own words regarding Obama. I think I might hold you personally responsible. Regardless - I prefer listening to Mark Levine - versus Hannity. And I certainly don't like that "Leftist" Propoganda that the Left tries to email me on a daily basis. It's all equally nausiating.

I don't know what to expect out of Franken... Hopefully we get a Senator that can think outside the box, and represent the people better than the rest of the gang on Capitol Hill.

He should feel right at home with the other 100 comedians in the u.s. senate.

Never mean to intentionally offend. My views are mine. Your views are yours. I'm okay with that. When it comes to politics however - at least we all pay attention and care. Despite our differences

By the way - I really love SNL. Thanks so much for the Chris Farley Complex. However - I've always loved Chris Farley (RIP!) I can take a joke. Hopefully - you all can as well. Thanks for the complex. I hope to give each of you one, too! Ha~!

Seriously, Bush kept spending OUR money- 8 years of spending and leaving us in a world of hurt. We, the American people, are hurting- and people are looking to the gov't to make it right. Obama is not a Socialist, but when everyone is looking to him to solve the problems, then he is going to TRY to make it work.

Again, it did not take us 6 months to get in this situation- it was 8 years of bullshit. it will take a year or 2 to TRY to make a headway in this mess. Obama is not passing the buck- he is owning it and we should let him try for a bit of time before we can say- he's full of shit.

My pleasure. I didn't mean to offend by it either, I just couldn't see all the quote marks without thinking of that skit! In any event, fear not. I don't take things personal here. But I do aggressively challenge others' views whenever I can. It's not personal though.

If "Lib" is short for Libertarian, you've got me pegged right. I'm far from a "Liberal" I'd say. If you like a lot of what Ron Paul speaks about, you're probably closer to my political beliefs than you think.

And don't worry about being offensive, at least with me. I hate PC bullshit. PEACE!

You are just too nice to dislike. I kinda like the "sparring" (even though I'm outnumbered here.) It's all good! I will never be able to watch another Best of Chris Farley episode of SNL and not think of this! Hopefully I won't start doing those annoying Air Quotes! BTW - Obama still sucks. ;)

This has to be the first time anyone here has ever called me too nice. You may yet change your mind on that one ;)

But I think we can all agree that Chris Farley was awesome!
