So, what came out of the last thread? Not much from 10c. How about participiating in this all-might thread of ticketing issues."Mostly I think that people react sensitively because they know you’ve got a point"0
-
I posted this on a thread which is now closed, but I'll re-post it here in case anyone cares to hear my opinion:
Things to consider:
-CrowdSurge has done high-demand ticket pre-sales before. I find it improbable that they could be told "we have an allocation of _ tickets for _ shows, and usually get _ people logging on within a period of _ minutes", and not know with certainty whether they can or can't handle the load
-The same statement is posted on CrowdSurge's website, as well as Ten Club's. To me, this is independent confirmation from both parties that something unusual has happened
-The term 'sabotage' is very juvenile, and almost immediately sounds laughable when a company 'suspects sabotage'. Especially when that company is a band's fan club. That said, the very real DDoS (distributed denial of service) attack is one where there is an attempt to make a site become unreliable (think many computers simultaneously pressing refresh - almost like an extreme and intentional version of what we see when we crash Ten Club's servers)
-If this was a DDoS attack, this is a legal issue, and I would assume that an investigation would occur. If this is the case, would the fan club or CrowdSurge be disclosing information to the public on the matter?'05 - TO, '06 - TO 1, '08 - NYC 1 & 2, '09 - TO, Chi 1 & 2, '10 - Buffalo, NYC 1 & 2, '11 - TO 1 & 2, Hamilton, '13 - Buffalo, Brooklyn 1 & 2, '15 - Global Citizen, '16 - TO 1 & 2, Chi 2

So have all the other presales been sabotaged as well since all those had issues? Is the 10C going to own up to anything?2003: San Antonio, Houston, Dallas, Seattle; 2005: Monterrey; 2006: Chicago 1 & 2, Grand Rapids, Cleveland, Detroit; 2008: West Palm Beach, Tampa; 2009: Austin, LA 3 & 4, San Diego; 2010: Kansas City, St. Louis, Columbus, Indianapolis; 2011: PJ20 1 & 2; 2012: Missoula; 2013: Dallas, Oklahoma City, Seattle; 2014: Tulsa; 2016: Columbia, New York City 1 & 2; 2018: London, Seattle 1 & 2; 2021: Ohana; 2022: Oklahoma City0

How does it feel to have to do the 10C's dirty work Kat?
I wasn't trying to get tickets to these shows...but I've experienced the same stuff in the past (especially Alpine). I love the band and I love the fact that they get fan club seats available to only fan club members (usually). I also understand that demand is usually much higher than supply.
But, the process is ridiculous. The 10C even admitted that finally after the Alpine fiasco. Promises were made. To their credit, they did try something new and I'm sure they all thought it would fix the problem. It didn't. It failed miserably. And a note talking about Sabotage (deflecting all blame) and just saying no fan club tickets will be available is more ridiculous then the failure. It's a slap in the face, the salt in the wound. Just talk to your fans like normal people. Admit your failures. I know it's embarrassing, but we all mess up. And this is a trend. Both the mess ups and the hollow statements that follow.
I'm almost tempted to start my own band and sell millions of records. Thanks Tim. In reality, instead of being the face of the band and all things that is good about the band, the fan club has become a joke and a slap to the face of loyal fans. Treat your fans like people please. No more bullshit.hippiemom = goodness0 -
I would recommend going back to the old 1 show request date policy. See this thread.
viewtopic.php?f=4&t=178752I’ve seen Pearl Jam 25 times, Eddie Vedder 9 times, and Brad once.0 -

Nnot all of them had issues. The high demand shows did, but I still don't recall any threads about people not getting tickets to DC, or KC, Indy, etc....got a mind full of questions and a teacher in my soul...0 -

So were the high demand shows sabotaged? Isn't it just likely that these current issues were also caused by high demand rather than sabotage?2003: San Antonio, Houston, Dallas, Seattle; 2005: Monterrey; 2006: Chicago 1 & 2, Grand Rapids, Cleveland, Detroit; 2008: West Palm Beach, Tampa; 2009: Austin, LA 3 & 4, San Diego; 2010: Kansas City, St. Louis, Columbus, Indianapolis; 2011: PJ20 1 & 2; 2012: Missoula; 2013: Dallas, Oklahoma City, Seattle; 2014: Tulsa; 2016: Columbia, New York City 1 & 2; 2018: London, Seattle 1 & 2; 2021: Ohana; 2022: Oklahoma City0 -
Would I be able to transfer my Manchester 10C tickets to someone? Because I've really had enough of all this. I don't want to contribute to an organisation or a band that treats its fans so poorly and with such disregard. I've looked past a lot of the fuck-ups and changes over the years and found excuses to stick with it, but I can't do it any longer.
Surely there is someone out there who would be far happier to have a pair of 10C tickets for Manchester than I am.My Pearl Jam Photos

Was online for presale. 4 tickets selected (Manchester, Stockholm, Oslo, Copenhagen) in 5 mins but never got a chance to check out. Took 3 hours, result: Nil
Oslo and Stockholm, online 20 mins ahead and put in a queue. In cart twice, credit card not suitable. Took an hour, result: Nil
Copenghagen, online on time. In cart once, credit card not taken. 30 mins, result: Nil
Manchester... never saw a ticket. Result: Nil
I have seen PJ on all recent Euro tours and always scored 10C seats. Now looking at Viagogo for €200 - 250 a ticket.

Its possible. The buying process prior to Alpine/Europe was nowhere near as bad as it has been these last two times. But the fact is neither you or I have any real idea of what happened....got a mind full of questions and a teacher in my soul...0 -
