After a number of people asked if I'm going to offer another round of the PJ Poster Framing Special, I'm now offering a second-round of the PJ Poster Framing Special. :D

The more people who participate, the more the price drops for everyone!

FRAME OPTIONS:
See link for full info about frame choices:
http://westendframing.com/pearl-jam-poster-framing.html

You get your choice of seven frames (with color-stripe of your choice) and matting of your choice and UV glass.

Our matting and backing materials by Bainbridge Artcare is not only acid-free, they are museum quality with Zeolite protection technology which actively protects artwork from pollutants. See link at the top of this post for full info.

MATTING OPTIONS:
See link for full info about matting:
http://westendframing.com/pearl-jam-poster-framing.html

GLASS OPTIONS:
See link for full info about glass:
http://westendframing.com/pearl-jam-poster-framing.html

All frames will be using TruVue brand Conservation Glass (with UV protection)

For those who really love the low-reflection of Museum Glass, here is some options for you!

UPGRADE TO MUSEUM GLASS:
Posters up to 19x25: Add $95 per piece to final price bracket
Posters larger than 19x25, up to 19x31: Add $122 per piece to final price bracket
Posters larger than 19x31, up to 27x35: Add $168 per piece to final price bracket

PRICING INFO:

Regular price for this framing, with the poster size 19" x 25": $265
(and this is a real, un-inflated price for framing with this frame in this size)

Special Quantity Discounts:

QUANTITY GROUP DISCOUNT PRICE PER PICTURE
1 - 5 Posters $45 off per piece $219 ea
6 - 10 Posters $66 off per piece $199 ea
11-15 Posters $80 off per piece $185 ea
16-20 Posters $93 off per piece $172 ea
21-30 Posters $96 off per piece $169 ea
31-40 Posters $106 off per piece $159 ea

POSTER SIZE RESTRICTION:
The poster sizes that can participate at the above special rate are sizes 19" x 25".
(see below for sizes larger)

Note: Posters like Washington DC '03 (boy's face) which have a lot of excess, plain space around the image may work, even though the poster is technically 20"x 26". The maximum opening of the mat will be 19" x 25" or smaller. If your poster is bigger than 19" x 25", but you are ok with the mat opening being 19" x 25" (like the Washington DC '03, which looks fine covered), then that poster over the 19x25 size IS eligible for this special price.

Posters larger than 19" x 25", up to 19" x 31": Add $22 to final price bracket
*note: shipping and packaging will be more expensive than the estimates above.

Posters larger than 19" x 31", up to 27" x 35": Add $69 to final price bracket
*note: shipping and packaging will be more expensive than the estimates above.

SHIPPING & PACKAGING INFO
:
I usually ship via The UPS Store, located a couple of doors away. I had them quote shipping of 2 pictures, based on the "maximum" poster size of 19x25, which would make the outside of the frames no bigger than 27x33. Below is the breakdown for packaging, and actual shipping estimates from them recently.

**Idea: Share shipping with someone nearby to you, so the shipping is less per person AND you can take advantage of the free packaging offer below.

BOXING/PACKING/PEANUTS: $25
...or FREE if you are ordering 2+ frames

To help make this as inexpensive as possible, if you are ordering 2 - 3 frames I will eat the $25 packing fees from UPS Store. I hope some of you take advantage of this!!

(posters larger than 19x25 will cost more to pack, but we will cover $25 of packaging for 2 or more)

SHIPPING GROUND ESTIMATES:

-with $100 worth of insurance-
(extra insurance available for about $2 per $100 covered)
(posters larger than 19x25 will cost more to ship than these estimates)

• 19064 PA $37 shipping
• 08203 NJ $37 shipping
• 60601 IL $45 shipping
• 59101 MO $60 shipping
• 02101 MA $39 shipping
• 06611 CT $37 shipping
• 48201 MI $40 shipping
• 11004 NY $37 shipping
• M4B 1B3 TORONTO CANADA $75
• 29014 CHIPAS, MEXICO $282

Here are actual samples of the framing I've done for board members.
(more images to come - thanks to the board members allowing me to post their completed frames)

  • i really want to do it with my 4 good ones, just don't have the money....sorry.

if by the grace of God enough people do it so the price dips down to around $100 then i might be irresponsible enough to get it done.

I have 2-3 I'd like to get done if the price is right ($219 is just too much right now)...possibly up to 4-5 if it gets down to 159.00...

If I gave you the size of a current poster I have framed...would the option to purchase just the frame be available?

Awesome! I have a couple that I'd like to frame and I was hoping that you'd have another one of these, but not so soon. I don't quite think I'm ready yet..... but let me see how the fundage flows in the next couple of weeks.

I might be able to arrange that. :D

Color selection for matting would be tough. Usually I have the poster here and can place matting sample with the art to see the colors... or are you talking about without matting? If so, this would be separate from the special, if just the frame.

It would be just the frame. I already have the matting. I actually have the 2005 Gorge framed in triple mat and one of those frames with red or blue outline on it would be killer!!

Ill definitely throw in. Is the shipping per poster? Ill likely do at least the toronto 09 I just picked up off of arq. Maybe my buffalo 10 or cleveland ap 10.
  • usamamasan1usamamasan1 Posts: 4,695
not per poster necessarily. I got two shipped from him from VA to CA for $51 (this does not include the packaging fee, which is waved for two anyway)

It's well worth it & you save $25 if you get 2 done :D . Just received my 2 posters today (skull in the box, above 8-) ). Not only did Chris (Hoff) do a beautiful job with the posters, his packing was top rate. I was a bit apprehensive having 2 frames shipped ups. I worked 11 freaking years with ups & I mishandled :o;) a package or 2 in my time   . Very impressed with the extra care put into the packaging. Now I have about a month to decide if I get 1 or 2 more done.
    Thanks again, Chris

I'm very impressed that you are doing this, it really is an amazing offer as I have 3 prints that I really would like to have framed, I just don't have the money right now. I hope you get people to take advantage of this because the two samples look great.

After a number of people asked if I'm going to offer another round of the PJ Poster Framing Special, I'm now offering a second-round of the PJ Poster Framing Special. :D

The more people who participate, the more the price drops for everyone!

You get your choice of seven frames (with color-stripe of your choice) and matting of your choice and UV glass.

Regular price for this framing: $265
(and this is a real, un-inflated price for framing with this frame in this size)

    SHIPPING GROUND ESTIMATES:

    -with $100 worth of insurance-
(extra insurance available for about $2 per $100 covered)

How important is it to frame your posters?

    Dear Maggie,
I only have 4 posters tucked in thier tubes on top of my wardrobe.
But now I want to put them up in a dusty, spidery, kid infested home.
Can the posters survive until I get them framed in about 2 years?

    Your sincerely
    Jo

I dont understand who Maggie is...

But at the very least you need to get your posters flat, and not in tubes.

    Hi Jo,

The longer the posters are in tubes, the harder it is to get the curl out of the paper. The thicker the paper (particularly the nice heavy rag paper used on many posters) makes it even more difficult. Plus brown tubes are acidic, so they slowly turn the paper brown and brittle. So, go out and purchase some Acid Free foamboard (feels a little fuzzy on the surface, not the slightly glossy surface kind) and carefully sandwich the posters between there to help flatten them out. If the posters are about the same size, you can stack them on top of each other, but if they are significantly different in size, you'll want a separate pair of AF foamboard so you don't leave indentations on the posters from overlapping different sizes. Once between the two sheets of foamboard (with some paper between the posters) you can tape the edges up with regular packaging tape to help keep bugs out. Your posters will thank you. Once flattened, you can invest in a nice portfolio, or just put the money towards framing them when you're ready. :)

    :D

I am in for two of these. One will be St Louis 2010 which I don't have yet. Can I take advantage of the offer, ship you one poster now and another later (most likely when 10c sells them)?
