i'll be getting in town tomorrow morning around 10 and plan on heading straight to wrigley. The gf has to work so she'll be bringing our luggage and stuff with her tomorrow night. I plan on just bringing my poster tube and a bookbag

    No flipper videos today?
There were definitely flippers in there, unless someone really needs a shitload of shirts and boxes of baseball cards for their own enjoyment.  The amount of shirts some people were buying could not have been just for "family and friends".  I saw someone buy 2 boxes of baseball cards.  They are rock solid on 2 posters per person, and the Thomas was the clear winner as you can see all the others still had large stacks.

Line wasn't horrific but once you got in the tent, it was hot as fuck.  Need some ventilation in there.  But it was very organized.

One suggestion...the people working there should have scanners for pricing. That would save a lot of time all around instead of using calculators.

They had a lot when I left around 2.  That was the thinnest, but I saw 3 sets of the five along the back wall

I doubt this is the case with these punks (especially since the card options are surely very limited), but FWIW, it actually really is enjoyable to have an entire case of baseball card packs to yourself, lol. I happened to end up with a whole case of baseball cards for free once, and it was so fun to just tear into every single pack, one after the other for hours, like some kind of baseball card orgy.

I will for sure buy a full box of cards in Boston if I can. Trade some packs for Seattle/Chicago and having the box is cool.

Super short line. Left work a little early. Got there at 3:45-ish and they had everything in stock as far as I could tell. Got everything on my shopping list. Best merch experience since Santiago de Chile.

Hearing these “15 minutes, in and out” stories really makes me regret going so early today and waiting for hours. Oh well. Met some cool people in line and got everything I wanted. You never know how quickly certain stuff sells out.

Apologies if this has been discussed already. The Chicago flag T has dates on the back of all the Chicago shows played back to the old days. Not aware of this was the case on Seattle or Missoula, but kind of a neat touch.
