I don't think it had anything to do with her and 11 it was just that in season 7 she was more of a plot driver than a character, she's gotten better and better ever since "the impossible girl" has been solved and forgotten.
I loved last weeks episode, will probably end up being my favorite from this season.
LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE WHO!!!! Diehard Tennant fan!!!! Matt Smith grew on me by the end of Last season, but I can't wait to start watching this season...we don't have cable though so I watch on Hulu....but I have too many shows I'm catching up on on Netflix at the mo, so I haven't started the new season yet....but I have a feeling I'm going to adore Capaldi!!!

I got into the show last year, started watching on netflix and quickly became obsessed. Tennant is still my favorite doctor but damn if Smith didn't win me over as well. his leaving is actually giving me a serious case of the bummers... I would be overjoyed if they went with the next doctor being non-white, either black or middle eastern perhaps. Even though I am a feminist I have to disagree with a lot of fans saying it's time that they have a female doctor...that just doesn't seem right to me.
What did everyone think about the season 7 finale? honestly I'm still processing what the hell happened, I honestly did not see that coming...
I gotta say I'm totally with you on the whole female Doctor thing! It just seems wrong!!!

I sometimes wonder if I'm the only person who is perfectly ok with The Doctor being a white guy. I really dislike the Doctor's sudden dislike of soldiers. Like, what? No.
I watched part of a Who marathon on TV not very long ago and caught a BUNCH of Tennant episodes. Coming in to watch season 8 after that made me kind of think that maybe, possibly, I liked the show better overall back then. Don't get me wrong I still love it now, I like Capaldi as the Doctor, I like that Clara is now a character rather than just a plot device and I think Jenna Coleman is talented as balls - she handled that transition remarkably well I think, but I'm still not fond of Clara and I think Moffat is trying to take the show "back to basics" but I think it's trying too hard. I am also a huge fan of run on sentences.
I think Jenna's a great actress, and it certainly doesn't hurt that she's easy on the eyes. Just something about Clara that really bugs me. Never could figure it out but I was always annoyed with her.

I liked it. I also liked Missy and the way that went.
Very excited for Nick Frost in the Xmas Special.
