With the two rumored shows in philly and new york I have to wonder, which crowd brings their A game better? I've been to every single nyc/philly show since 96 and I'm not sure what the answer is. What do you guys think?

It's a tie for me. I'm from NYC but I've seen five shows both here and in Philly and I loved them all. Crowd is usually loud and ready to party.

It's usually the same people so depending on what nights first night, I'll say that.

I feel really bad that I just posted that from the NYC subway (they actually have service now!) and I didn't choose the home crowd haha.

Crowd wise it usually seems the same just diff in where am at in the arena. I swear it feels like the same crowd just diff arenas but usually opening night or closing tour are pretty insane. I've been to all NYC and most of the philly shows. Like a traveling group of zombies from 1 city/venue to another, propped up in diff seats.

So the Walking Dead got it's name from Grateful Dead fans touring the country? Mind blown.

I never felt the spectrum bounce so I'll go with NYC.

I am from NY but I enjoy the Philly shows more. But when the boys are *on*, as they were in 2003 and 2010, there is no better place to be than MSG.

Crowd noise? I'd say they are about equal.
But the pre show buzz of walking into MSG in the heart of Manhattan absolutely destroys walking into an arena in the middle of a huge parking lot in the middle of nowhere any day.

I'd have to say Philly. I'm in South Jersey and attend almost all the Philly shows. I've also been to a couple of NYC shows. I absolutely love the Philly crowd. Crowd noise, the atmosphere and the emotion the band brings to the city is spot on.

It's basically the same crowd. Those of us who go to NYC or Philly always go to the other city. But you also have a bias against Manhattan. You said it before global citizen. Both cities are great to see a pj show.
