I'm biased towards Philly with it being my home town, but both crowds are great. Hoping they both get shows this spring. :D

Crowd noise? I'd say they are about equal.
But the pre show buzz of walking into MSG in the heart of Manhattan absolutely destroys walking into an arena in the middle of a huge parking lot in the middle of nowhere any day.

from Philly here and never been to a concert at MSG but have seen a bunch of hoops games there and I do agree with this. there is something about that building and location that creates an excitement in of itself.

I guess what i'm saying in a roundabout way though is Philly is better because we have to bring the excitement and buzz ourselves and we clearly do for PJ.

100% agree. I didn't feel that same Pre show buzz at Barclays.

Yeah, but at least you can Tailgate in Philly. Can that be done in NY(MSG)?

No difference in the crowd IMO.

I'm definitely biased but honestly it doesn't make a difference. The band ALWAYS puts on classic shows in both cities. Best bet, GO TO BoTH!

The old spectrum had MUCH better sound than MSG.
Agree that the old MSG sound was terrible at times. I think it was the 08 shows at MSG where the sound was just awful.

The crowd makes a huge part of the show. Name a classic pj show that had a crappy crowd. I.e. Newark 2010. Killer sound and one of the greatest sets ever but probably the worst crowd I've experience in the 53 times I ve seen pj. The majority thought it was a pretty shitty show overall. If that show was at MSG or philly you d have one of the greatest pj shows ever.
