NEW PEARL JAM ALBUM “LIGHTNING BOLT” AVAILABLE OCTOBER 15

LIGHTNING BOLT

Pearl Jam will release their much-anticipated tenth studio album, Lightning Bolt, on Monkeywrench Records/Republic Records on October 15, 2013 in the US. Internationally, the album will be released on October 14, 2013 and distributed by Universal Music Group International. Produced by Brendan O’Brien, Lightning Bolt marks Pearl Jam’s first studio album since the highly acclaimed Backspacer, which was released nearly four years ago in September of 2009.

Lightning Bolt is available for pre-order today at pearljam.com/lightningbolt. The first track off of the album, “Mind Your Manners” will be released today worldwide on radio.

    Mind Your Manners is a great tune, heavier than all of Backspacer which indicates a heavier album

    Let's hope Of the Earth is on it!!

    Here I am, headphones on, blaring "Mind Your Manners" and dancing in my chair for the first 30 seconds of the song, when I realize my coworker is standing right next to me. I pointed to the pearl jam page and she nodded, laughing and walking away. She knew not to interrupt the new Pearl Jam release!!!!!!!


    I AM SO PUMPED FOR THIS FALL!!! THANK YOU, PEARL JAM! My ears, heart, mind and soul are already on tour!

    Great song and I sense an amazing album & tour. (I only wish the tour was going to hit everyone's state/region/city/town)

    Definitely a slow grower.
    I've had it on repeat since 8 and its getting better and better with each listen.

    I hope this is a return to some "harder" stuff

    I'm a sad collector. Will there be any difference in the tenc vinyl and the standard. Same price. Even a tenc only sticker.just asking before I order both. Same goes for the cd.

    I kinda feel the same. Had it on repeat for the last hour. I think my brain just takes a little bit to figure it out because at first I'm just comparing it to what I'm used to. But it's not bad and I am definitely ready for this release.

    There's no difference. The 10club Member's Only Pre-order .. Includes Exclusive Digital Content. That's pretty much it. The vinyl's are selling at the same price, for both. No difference & shipped from the same warehouse. Those who are 10club paying members just got more access to the free digital download.

    Good song...like the heavier, punky sound. Probably the heaviest song since "Spin the Black Circle". Should be a fun, live song to experience.

    And $8.01 shipping for to pre-order the actual CD??? I hope that means one of the band members personally delivers it...

    Oh god I hope not, I love this band to pieces but that is one horrible, uncoordinated mess of a song that deserves to be buried away with Olé and never spoken of again. At every gig I heard it at it absolutely murdered the atmosphere every time.

    Like the new song, hope the new album continues that vibe

    I might just wait to see what Amazon has this for, most new releases will include auto rip, plus free shipping for prime, and possibly a better price. Ugh, if only the 10c preorder included a limited 45 or something other than digital content I'd jump on it right now.
