    Wouldn't it wind up costing more to haul all of their stuff to Europe to play a handful of shows though? I would imagine that they'd make more money doing some shows down here than across the globe...could be wrong though.

    We, the group hanging around this thread, have yet grasp the economic logic that has been used by the Pearl Jam organization of late.....:(....sadly, it seems that we, the South, no longer figure into their earnings matrix or whatever jargon the organization uses...

    I would say the $ is driving the Police and Rolling Stones to continue. And I truly believe that if Pearl Jam toured to bring their music to the people, then they would have been here by now. They will run low on $ and come see us. It's fucking sad.

    OK, all things aside, do you really feel this way? I've been feeling this way for a while but hoped I was wrong. Has Eddie really gone "Hollywood?" Because we all know he's the one that leads the band....When he didn't want the fame, there were no photo opps with C. Diaz...not that I give a shit about that, but is that was has happened here.......? If so, I am so disappointed....Like you say, the waves can wait. Has he truly sold out???

    The Rolling Stones have managed to. We all do at some point if we spend more than we make. Ask George Bush how he does it.

    They have expensive lifestyles and the music business is getting less and less profitable.
