Although you missed the excitement - just know that you did however get a "noteable mention" (indirectly, of course!) despite your absence! Ha! Just be happy for your apparent popularity and "quotes" on this Southern Thread ! Ty - seriously -be glad you weren't around. The poster obiviously consumed large amounts of alcohol pior to posting (and with all hope - regrets it.) I was sober - and feel stupid responding. I have no excuse. I'm moving on. Love Pearl Jam - there's just something about that lead singer's voice - and everything else about the full band that we love! Pearl Jam!

And just think - they are coming to see us! I choose to focus on that!

That's not too bad. The original plan was to get there MUCH earlier, but then they announced the FL shows. I was close to arriving on Friday night so I could do WPB and Tampa, but I didn't want to push it- which I'm glad that now I'm just doing WPB and Roo because my Friday schedule is jammed packed starting off at noon!

The plan is too leave Ft. Lauderdale Thursday morning around 6-7 AM, come up to Tallahassee, pick up the gear and the wife, and then onto Roo- total of about 14 hours driving- the things we do for PJ

I'm leaving this thread/board now for a few days (perhaps until I return from Tampa in June.) I want to see PJ- and be in a positive place. I am so happy they are coming - to at least the Southeast! This PJ Message Board makes me feel extremely immature and utterly stupid at times! Hope to see some of you in Tampa!!!

Prior to me "checking out of this board" until after Tampa - you and your husband's "situation" has been in my thoughts. I apologize for not responding sooner. From personal circumstances - I had/have a disabled child's (client) mom in my life (and NOW this person - Cindy is a wonderful friend of mine!) I have known her thru not only ONE - but- TWO liver transplants! Cindy got her two liver transplants at Shands Hospital in Jacksonville, FL. - both within a year and a half!

I never know what to say in these situations - as I always fear I will say the wrong thing - thus my delay in responding. I do hope however that it gives you some comfort in knowing that my friend - Cindy is doing just great (however her operations/recoveries were NOT a cake-walk). She is now doing great! I only hope the same thing for your husband....as I know it's possible. My thoughts/prayers are much with you at this time. And this thread will remain a "Safe Haven" for you. We remain here for you, your husband, your family.
