I just picked up my Borgata poster from the framers yesterday, I'll try and poster a photo one day... and I missed out on a 98 NZ poster on ebay last night. It ended up going for ~US$300, I chickened out at $242 :(

yes thats the poster Ive got - except Framed - apparently 3 of them came into nz framed around the time LOTL was released, and yeh I scored one....

BDO line ups are the pits. Should've known nothing would top Metallica playing at the BDO and gone to that one. But I didn't. Moral of the story is, stuffed titty.

Chemical brothers in 05 were pretty fucking cool too....
The Chilis sets these days are rubbish. Ill go watch them in their own concert, and Tool as well. But why limit these bands to a 10 song setlist like the BDO demands? Doesnt make sense.
Metallica can go fuck themselves. Noones interested anymore Lars, go drop your stuff on Napster.

i can understand you may not have a love for 12 hours of insanity to try and cram as many bands in as you can, but the BDO is a music festival, and the general idea of a festival is for shorter sets. so i know its not a full length concert, but i have gotten into so many bands through going to BDO's over the past few years, and therefore i believe i have benefited from this.
this day is what you make of it. i have alot of friends who also aren't interested, and fair enough. i can understand that, but i have fantastic memories of driving there, which we, a group of friends who have all originated from taranaki, go every year in a 71 ford falcon. we have a beer, sort out who we're going to see, lose each other, find each other have another beer, meet at the boiler room, have a dance, lose each other again... its what we do.
its just a big party, its not 10 song setlists, its blitzkrieg ROCK!!

Ive told you but for others perspective I was misunderstood a bit...I meant id hate the Chilis and Tool to come here, only play BDO and have the fans miss out on a full set at their own venue. Ive never been to BDO and I guess I may never, but a lot of my mates go religiously.
