    ive actually been up in front of crowds (not 20,000 of course) but hundreds and have talked just fine..your arguement would have been better if you said he drank too much :) Ed has been in front of crowds for years and the numbers arent the problem, he just isnt that comfortable speaking in public and if you were to put him on the spot with someone like O'Reilly or anyone who could debate him it wouldnt be pretty for him, thats all im saying

    anyway its obvious we dont agree on anything and thats ok, thats what makes this world great

    that's my point! he speaks out even if he feels slightly awkward about doing it because he is smart enough to know how important it is.

    i don't think O Reilly would rattle Ed.Ed is no doubt an intense & passionate person who is quite capable of being aggressive and articulate.He'd do just fine put to task.

    More liberal bias from a liberal writer! My point is and was that so many assume the "NEWS" is 100 percent factual and evenly reported when it comes from a voice they identify with. Meanwhile, O'Reily -- a yahoo or not -- the others of his ilk are shouted down as complete and total idiots regardless of the points they make....whether yelled out or not. O'Reilly certainly spews his fair share of rhetoric along party lines and skews some stories to fit his beliefs, but if he is a liar what makes everyone so sure the journalists they so trust to give them "the truth, more truth and nothing but the truth" aren't guilty of the same thing? Because it's real easy to put stock in what you want to believe and shoot down anything that differs from that. I believe the real truth lies somewhere in between.

    My bottom line is that O'Reilly, Coulter, Katie Couric, Keith Olberman and Charles Gibson etc. don't know everything there is to know, so Gibson's reports shouldn't be taken as any more gospel than those of O'Reilly's because both of them a full of shit to some degree. Why is it the fellow who wrote the book for which the link was so kindly provided is believed to give a completely fair assessment when apparently (according to the review) he is a liberal? He is certainly no dumby and probably capable of skewing information to fit the point he wished to make when writing that book. It goes both ways is all I'm saying people and we are fooling ourselves if we don't believe it
    All I have to do is revel in the everyday....then do it again tomorrow

    They say every sin is deadly but I believe they may be wrong...I'm guilty of all seven and I don't feel too bad at all

    guys...i posted a new thread explaining why Ed might not be on this week. There was too much political babble in this thread w/Oreilly and such so thought it would be easier posting new thread.
