You are eating all of the salmon!
Hope you are enjoying the trip, it looks like your stomach is.
Coho and King.  I could eat that every day and be happy.
It's been great. The salmon is delicious. I got a run in yesterday - I really needed that. I have only run twice since I have been on vacation. I think I gained 5 pounds. Hopefully, it will come off easily when I get home. But all the food I have had here has been great

    Enjoy it, M!

I have a few shorter trips planned including Ohana and Metallica at the Sphere in October. I am back in NYC tomorrow. So I will be hitting that brutal heat wave. Ugh!!

Last meal of my vacation. Crispy cauliflower, brick pressed chicken with lime/corn puree, and a fig and pomegranate vodka cocktail. Tomorrow it is back to low saturated fat, low carb, and 5 days a week at the gym. It was fun while it lasted.

It is one of my all time favourite restaurants here. The chef David Hawksworth is considered one of the top chefs in Canada, Nightingales is his second restaurant his fine dining restaurant is Hawksworth. Haven't tried Hawksworth but I love the casual vibe and family sharing style of the dishes at Nightingales. That's great you go to experience it!

Me too. The bar was beautiful there as well. My cocktail was delicious. I had wanted to try the pizza but my cousin who I was with can’t eat dairy and I wouldn’t have been able to eat one myself - so I passed on it. But my chicken was amazing. I had a lot of delicious food in Vancouver.

Nice choice! Nightingale never disappoints. I could eat their brussels sprouts everyday and never get tired of them.

Like that smoker grill Miles. I have a charcoal weber grill. Burned my burgers. Needed to let coals cook down more, plus burgers were pre-made semi frozen. Knew it wasn't going to be great.

not a smoker, kettle in a table cart preformance series...bought that 6-8 years ago reduced price as a clearance - damaged item(swiped the missing piece off another clearance item). has the camping propane bottle lighter system.....

similar to this but bottom shelf only. enameled side table without this drop in section.  and a pull out storage bin(think a 13 gal kitchen trash can for storing a bag of charcoal and/or wood chunks.....)

been thinking about those camp fire tripod grill setups. when I lived briefly in germany the licals had those with a crank to raise or lower the grate. heavy duty stuff....

The performer setup is fantastic if you cook with charcoal or wood.

first time using skillet. Works great.
Fun adventure supporting a local farm. No taking it for granted. Woman does all the work herself for 15 years now. She said it's really hard work, but is still committed.
