Saw punk rock legend Mike Watt last night playing with the Missingmen. Small, intimate venue that was perfect. Mostly did Minutemen songs with some Stooges and Blue Oyster Cult covers.

    Where was that. Very nice

Toy Factory Project in Richmond was a great show. If they come your way you should check them out. A super group playing Marshall Tucker songs. Marcus King, Charlie Star, Sam Bush, Paul Riddle, Oteil Burbridge and others. A lot of great southern rock jamming.

Local H and Toadies in Grand Rapids tonight. Lots of fun energy, enthusiastic crowd and great performances from both bands.

Claypool Gold. Pretty amazing show. Billy Strings showed up and played guitar on a couple tunes during Primus's set.

I wanna see the Toadies, but when watching clips on YouTube I see a bunch of 30 year olds trapped in 60 year old bodies, then get depressed thinking that's where I'm fast approaching.

Haha! I get that but it has always been a wide-ranging age spread for the five Toadies shows I've been to. Easily half of the GA crowd on the floor at the last one looked like HS or college kids.

They are one of those bands that sound much better live than on their albums, IMO.

I saw the Toadies on Friday night. I personally love seeing the 60 year olds still at it, rocking out and sounding good. Gives me hope as I get older :D . For someone that doesn't listen to a lot of new music, I actually really enjoy the Toadies new album. It was a great set list with mostly new tracks and Rubberneck tracks. I Burn as a finisher was awesome too. A bunch of people left at the end of the regular set so I go to move right up to the stage for the encore.

Even if you're a casual Led Zeppelin fan, I recommend seeing Jas Bonham Led Zeppelin Evening. He has very good musicians with him and the Guitarist is very good.

Just saw LA Guns this past weekend at our local town theater and they rocked it! Ironically pregaming at our local town Irish Pub and ran into another Pearl Jam fan (he was sporting a PJ shirt). Thought that was pretty cool! https://youtu.be/b3Ijp8820lo?si=zwO_KEzneh-QmEvo

I saw Sammy Hagar last night....dude can still hit those high notes. I was thinking he was 70 or so but he's 78

Michael Anthony has still got it as well.

I saw Paul Simon at Red Rocks on Saturday night. For an 84 year old, I was impressed. Definitely no longer in his prime, but great nonetheless. I do wish there were more Simon and Garfunkel tracks in the setlist, but we did get Homeward Bound, The Boxer, and Sound of Silence. Edie Brickell was a great vocal addition to a handful of songs.
