Twenty One Pilots in Va Beach, first place in saw Pearl Jam (2000)!  Prior to the show I knew some of the music, wasn’t a fan necessarily, but heard their shows were amazing. And it was wild!  A burning car, confetti, people in hazmat suits came into the pit shooting smoke, lots of pyrotechnics and fireworks, fans holding up platforms for the singer to stand on and for the drummer to drum on. It was a spectacle. And the fanbase seems very passionate.

Wow! He can still sing better than ever.
Go see him if you like queensryche.

    Openers pretty great too:
Indo Downey-reminds me of a poppy nirvana, dinosaur jr type band. Unassuming and rocked out.

Tomas McCarthy. a trio. Really kicked butt. Sax player, two acoustic guitars. No bass or drums. Reminded me of tom waits a teeny tiny bit.

The Musical Box (Genesis tribute band).

If you are into early Peter Gabriel Genesis, I highly recommend seeing them.

There the closest to Genesis that it gets.

They replicate Genesis to a T right down to what is said and the Props (that Genesis themselves donated to them to use).

Last second decision.  Buddy had an extra ticket to Built to Spill and Modest Mouse.

Really enjoyed seeing MM in a smaller venue.  They sounded great and looked like they enjoyed themselves.

First time seeing BTS.  Did NOT know it was a 3 piece band.  I enjoyed them too.

BTS is a favorite of mine! His touring band are great. They seem to have a lot of fun with the songs. Considering how he writes songs, I wish he would add a second guitarist to fill out the band a bit. A one point they were a 5 piece, although it’s really just Doug and whoever he decides to play with.

OK so I'm not going nuts, I could have sworn I saw videos of a bigger band.  He was playing with two ladies this time.  The bassist was very much into doing high leg kicks.

I saw Yes in Indy last Thursday. Steve Howe on guitar and Geoff Downes on keys

very good performance...I know Jon Anderson tours separately but I had never seen either version and have always wanted to see them.

I was a little concerned because Ticketmaster was showing a ton of unsold tix but it filled up pretty good. I guess old folks just show up and buy from the box office or something

  • The Beaches on Saturday. They had two sold out shows here at the Burt (1500 seat venue). They've really upped their game. Go see them if you have the chance. They played the entire new album. Not in order. But that's some damn confidence in your new material.
Your boos mean nothing to me, for I have seen what makes you cheer

Get The Led Out Sunday (Nov. 2nd, 2025) night in Wilmington, DE.

Always a good time seeing them and I've seen them about 5 times the last couple of years. I already have tickets to see them in April, 2026.
