Haha, yeah most copies have been around the block a few times. A local shop is having to move locations so they are having some sales as to not have to move as much inventory at the end of the month. Frampton was one of three or four I found in the $1 bin. Cover is not in great shape, but after a cleaning the discs are about as close to perfect as they can be for how old they are. And since I bought a couple other higher priced records the owner just threw the $1 ones in for free. A win-win as far as I’m concerned.mickeyrat said:DC29940 said:

have yet to see frampton comes alive used without the ring on the cover...

Finally!!!! I finally found a pretty good deal on ebay. Man, do I ever regret not buying this earlier, when it was cheaper. But I got the 1st pressing for only $150USD+shipping, which is a steal at the moment, especially since it's 6 discs, and I cannot wait to spin it. This whole album is so beautiful. I hope I don't get hit with import fees, but I probably will. Thanks Trump.

I'm not so quick to preorder LPs these days, but Rain Parade with Chris Cacavas (Green on Red, The Dream Syndicate, et al) on board? No brainer!

This is a fantastic box set. I remember how tough it was to get when it first came out.PJ_Soul said:Finally!!!! I finally found a pretty good deal on ebay. Great album, great band. Even their new iteration since the vocalist left. One of my son’s favorite albums.0 -
Sorry forgot to include the name - agreed sometimes it’s frustrating not knowing an artist based on the cover. Thanks @CarryTheZero for filling in the details.CarryTheZero said:

No problem. I just saw that cover and got excited. That album is so good. But it’s one of those records that really makes me sad. That music and his voice brings out the feels.0

Going through my records and trying to somewhat alphabatize them. Good to remind me what I have. Not a massive collection.
Prob about 500.
Had them arranged by type of music. Now by mixing it up, it will help me to change things up a bit.
Thinking I'll be putting all my Jazz in a J section.
Anyway. Have some lesser spun I might get rid of. Usually regret that so who knows.

Discogs helped me with this.then I sectioned genre. all rock . all the blues. jazz...to do it in the first place I seperated by letter , then each letter by its second letter and so on. have roughly 800. have really run out of space and my money needs to go elsewhere_____________________________________SIGNATURE________________________________________________

That Skinny love song and album by Bon Iver is like that. For Emma or something. He feels some pain.CarryTheZero said:No problem. I just saw that cover and got excited. That album is so good. But it’s one of those records that really makes me sad. That music and his voice brings out the feels.0 -
Yeah Bon Iver falls into that category. Also the album All of the Sudden I Miss Everyone by Explosions in the Sky.0

Ahmad Jamal is stunning. A few snap krackles & pops
The Beatles...don't have that and some good b side stuff on there
