I live in New York. Supposed to have some of the best food in the States. But they have not figured out Mexican breakfast tacos or breakfast burritos. At least in my neck of the woods. I drive 25 mins to get huevos rancheros. I give Cali a nod on those.

It was the service rd off cross Bronx going back to LI after the Bronx zoo… I saw the smoke, pulled over and they took care of me like family 😇super nice and hospitable folks… had to wait 30 min til it was done and they carved one up and I went to town

Croatia loves pig too.. last summer I had it off the spit a few times… lotta flavor . They even can make a mofongo dish out of it… was $20 … I gave em $40 and said does this white Boy get a Hood pass? 😆 I love to mix it up with authentic people over authentic food…

I will drive 20 miles in the wrong direction to avoid the Cross Bronx LOL. I have not had whole hog in a LONG time. Best I ever had was actually in China. No idea how it was prepared.
