Just re-released and arrived a few days ago.  I'm thrilled Laundromat Records reissued this one.  Side one is especially good.  Loving it!

Really glad that this one finally got pressed. Really well put together and sounds great. Fingers crossed that we get Scream someday (though I’m fully aware that I’m, like, one of 12 people who actually like the album, haha).

might end up back at the thrift store, but worth a spin or two. Old western mood music. Just try not to think about all the Glorified killing.

    Nice score (pun!) there, Lou!

Soundtracks are a very overlooked genre.  There are some really great ones out there by the like of Ennio Morricone, John Williams, Jerry Goldsmith, Danny Elfman, to name a few.

    Funny.
Only countryesc lz song I can think of is hot dog. Assuming record M Rat speaks of is an impossible boot. Digging 2nd hand shops has been dry lately. Haven't been looking too hard lately.
Feeling like I need to thin what I have slightly right now.

I love James Cagney. My Uncle loved watching old movies so he was a staple in my life growing up.

Did you know that he spoke fluent Yiddish?  Imagine that. An Irishman speaking Yiddish!

Hands down the greatest version of Moby Dick on that album.

I was walking by a random guy selling records on the street. I saw this one. It is sealed. I asked him how much. He said $6.00. Done!! I have a few variants of this including the OG. But for $6.00 sealed I couldn’t pass it up. I don’t have this clear version.

He had a bunch of crates of albums. I didn’t have time to look through them all. I may go back and see if he is there tomorrow.

Wow. Only $6? I would have absolutely looked through everything else. Wonder why he would sell that for change.
1991- Hollywood Palladium, California with Temple of the Dog, Soundgarden, and Alice in Chains -RIP Magazine Show Oct. 6th
    1992- Lollapalooza, Irvine, California
    Nothing since then. I suck.

We have a ton of unlicensed street vendors who just set up on the sidewalk selling books, records, etc. He didn't seem like a guy who goes through Discogs to check value. I wish I had the time to have looked through the rest of the crates. The only reason I stopped at all was because the PJ album was in the front of one of the crates so I saw it immediately as I was walking by. I went back on Sunday, but he wasn't there. I will check back again this Saturday. Maybe he will be back.
