    damn it. i knew it, as soon as i buy something, something i want more comes out and i can't afford it. this thing $6800, but for a fallon fan like me, it would be totally worth it.

    Take it as a blessing it is so expensive.  Paying over $7K for a Fender seems nuts unless it is projected to double it's value immediately, like the McCready strat.  Then you have the dilemma of being worried about playing a $14K guitar.

    I think they are making 59 total, so FOMO and collectors will buy them all.

    You can find '59 Tele custom shops for under $3K in the used market.

    true. these are not doubling yet. i saw 3 listed on reverb, two of them at list price and one at $7200, taking advantage of guys like me that want it now lol.

    yeah i would pay that much for a gibson murphy lab, but probably not for a tele. can probably find one similar used and just drop the brian fallon signature pickups in it and save a couple of thousand. i may do that. i don't think i have seen a double bound tele in black though before.

    that thing is gonna look weird when someone is trying to play it. looks normal hanging on the wall. will look funny rotated 90 degrees when someone is playing it.

    I hang all my guitars so they are handy to play, so I'm fine with the orientation ... they really had no choice as there is not enough space to show the game layout if flipped 90 degrees.  Getting some Pac-Man fret inlays would have been cool though.  And I would probably switch the selector switch to a red knob to represent the joystick.

    I feel like I'm talking myself into ... Miss Pac-Man would have been an insta-buy.

    you should do that. you could get a red sphere for the volume knob. but selector switch would probably be better. or if you really wanted to get crazy you could have a kill switch installed and make it a button from the old game console.

    i could probably use one. i do something similar with my les pauls, i turn the neck pickup to 0 while the bridge volume is up and use the toggle switch to get that staccato effect. 

    that thing in the pic looks pretty cool. wonder how dependable it is.

    Brought this home today. It is a bit of a fixer-upper but nothing too serious. Got it for a pretty good deal so putting a little work and money into it is definitely worthwhile.
