There is an understandable tendency within these forums to focus thoughts on rock acts for Ohana, but it has had a few headliners who lean much more pop such as Pink, Sting (replacing Uncle Neil) and even Hozier (last year) as well.

The Billie Eilish rumor is not that far fetched nor would I be shocked to see someone like (self confessed PJ fan) Olivia Rodrigo on the lineup.
Someone on Ohana FB page said it was “unconfirmed confirmed” (whatever that means so obviously not reliable) that it was Billie Eilish PJ JW and FF. I’d sacrifice seeing her to able to see the other 3.
I would be delighted with that lineup, I don’t listen to Billie Eilish personally but the rest more than compensates… but yeah I have my doubts… I feel like the least likely would be Foo Fighters. Their current schedule is Bourbon & Beyond in Kentucky on Thursday night, then Vegas on Saturday. That would mean Ohana would be on Sunday.  It’s not completely impossible but it would be the only time all year that they play back to back nights and they usually schedule 2-3 days between shows.

[edit] Having given it a little thought, I really can’t see that PJ are going to bring in a new drummer, rehearse, load up the trucks with gear and their road crew, just for a one off show - even for the Ohana 10th anniversary…

Maybe it's like a comedian "working on new material" and they put themselves lower on the festival poster and play an hour with the new drummer? I don't think it will actually happen, but it seems like a friendly environment to work out some kinks.

No thanks. But I’m sure if they wanted to play a one off show, Chad Smith would be the go to guy.

Just want to put this out there. Now that Nine Inch Nails tour is done, and with no plans for a new album, does this mean that Josh Freese is back to being a potential candidate?

also, expect line-up Tuesday, with Ten Club presales same day, and early access sales on Thursday for none Ten Club members.

This is my kind of speculation!  <3

Just to throw it out there, but when Matt went down with COVID in Oakland a few years ago, they did draft in Richard Stuverud at short notice and then got Dave Krusen in for Fresno and Sacramento (later canned after Jeff also got sick). So, there are directions they could easily go in if they decided they wanted to play a show or two without the commitment to finding the new permanent drummer.

I always wonder... how many people cancel their plans after lineup announced?
    Hmmmm?

From what I see in the Ohana facebook group there are always people who book the hotels nearest to the festival site every year the moment these become available and well before the announcements are made in order to try and get a cheaper rate, but who then cancel these if they consider the lineup isn't worth the travel costs.  Hard to put any numbers on it, but for sure there's some every year especially if PJ don't play the festival.

That's not what I meant. I'm aware of that and have done it myself.. and Facebook is full of fake scammers  who will pop up selling discount tickets the minute they can. I'll never go near FB group.
Booking a hotel then cx is just part of the game...I mean who REALLY decides not to go.

Fair enough but my guess is maybe more than you might expect, especially anyone who needs to fly to get to Ohana.  That guess is based on PJ fans travelling in numbers and Ohana being fixed date in the calendar and a pretty much guaranteed way of getting some sort of PJ-adjacent fix.

But take this year for example, I'm sure some people would've made Ohana travel reservations last year to give themselves the option of attending as cheaply as possible...  then Ed announces a Japan tour out of the blue in January and I'm almost certain some travellers would've prioritised that (4 shows, somewhere he's never played before) over one night at Ohana.
