New Neil Young Live Album - RSD 2026. Was hoping for Blur too, but no luck.

What did others pick up today?

Grabbed Porcupine Tree and they had last year's Shudder To Think at 50% off. Struck out on Lanegan and Sandler so will be combing online sales for those.

How is that Collective Soul? I'm looking forward to hearing that, I need to pick that up. Scott Weiland live and STP? I need to check that out as well, I didn't even know those were out. Sweet!

Really dig the Collective Soul. It’s much more new wave influenced than their other stuff, but I honestly think it’s their best album since 2015’s See What You Started By Continuing. I think trying something different pushed them creativity a bit. Definitely worth checking out.

The STP and Weiland ones are really good too. I think the STP is a little better recorded and mixed, but if you’re a fan the Scott solo is worth having in your collection. All the songs were recorded on his ‘09 solo tour - two of which that are from a show at my local venue. Sadly, I was not there.

I might have to visit a record store now!  I pass on RSD no because there isnt anything exciting anymore but this looks very appealing.

Ever since I fell into the rabbit hole of Japanese jazz, I have been searching for an OG pressing of this masterpiece. This was originally pressed in a private pressing edition of 150-200. It was pressed by a Japanese business man in the 70s, who used these records as his business card. Story here, if you'd like to read more about it.

1991- Hollywood Palladium, California with Temple of the Dog, Soundgarden, and Alice in Chains -RIP Magazine Show Oct. 6th
    1992- Lollapalooza, Irvine, California
    Nothing since then. I suck.
2016- Fenway Park, Boston - Both glorious nights
    2022- Oakland Night 2
    2024 Sacramento, CA

A couple new releases and then decided I needed to start filling in the gaps in my Springsteen collection after seeing him last week. Still need Human Touch, Seeger Sessions, and Working on a Dream to have the complete studio discography. All readily available except WOAD. Hoping for a reissue of that here at some point. Quite pricey second hand.
