I can see it almost plain as day "Three Fish" in wetlands advertisement in the aquarian newspaper.Unless I'm imagining it. I used to check it out religiously looking for something to do. Had no idea who they were so didn't go.

The Strokes, The Capitol Theatre, Port Chester NY, 5-31-14
Was on the rail in front of Albert. This is his setlist.
Top-to-bottom, it might be the best show I've ever seen, PJ included (ducks to avoid the people on the board throwing things). The sound was great, the songs were tight, Julian was in a great mood, the crowd was beyond amped.
They played "The End Has No End", which was my fave song of theirs at the time.
I remember a ton of issues with the theater and security and getting in. The head of security gave a speech that amounted to "I'm God, the all-powerful, and I alone will decide who gets in and when they get in".
Live debut for songs from "Comedown Machine". During "Welcome To Japan", Julian changed "What kind of asshole drives a Lotus?" to "What kind of asshole owns the Capitol Theatre?" Lol.
- Mama Loves Her Baby Blues = "Happy Ending"
- Not on the setlist but the last song of the night was "New York City Cops"
