It’s been temperamental over the years to say the least, but it’s working fine for me (at the moment!)

When he cancelled the remaining dates on his 2024 tour, that was bummer since he was set to perform Ohana.  You know that would've a special set reminiscent of the 1995 tour.  Hopefully they do something together sooner than later, Neil isn't getting any younger but I'm still amazed how well he performs, he's a freaking unicorn.
my dad and I had tickets to an outdoor winnipeg show the week of my 50th birthday. was so fucking bummed.

I want to see Neil & CH one more time, but I'm not sure we will get that chance. There is nothing like them.

Saw Neil and the Chrome Hearts in September and they played well. Some stuff I didn't know. It was a great time. My fiancé had never seen him/them so it was nice to share with her. As they played Ohio I leaned to her and said "you're watching the same man perform the same song that he performed at Woodstock in 69." I think that kind of hit.

I know where you're coming from with Ohio. I was lucky to see them perform Ohio at Bethel, NY home of Woodstock, last August.
  • only time I've seen neil is with CSNY in 2006. will likely never get to see him solo or with CH.

Man, I am feeling old reading this,      I saw CSNY at Winterland in either late 1969 or early 1970.  I wish I could remember the exact day, but regardless, it was a killer show.  At the end of playing a phenomenally great rendition of "Down By the River", the four main CSNY members came together in a big hug of tangled arms and electric guitars.  The roof practically came off the place!

Neil Young, who is 80, said on a post on his website: “Folks, I have decided to take a break and will not be touring Europe this time. Thanks to everyone who bought tickets. I’m sorry to let you down, but this is not the time. I do love playing LIVE and being with you and the Chrome Hearts.”

Fuck. I have tickets to his London festival gig... Havent bought airplane and hotel though. So I guess I could have lost a lot more. I don't think I will travel for just Kings of Leon and Black Crowes. Unless Neil is replaced with like.... eh.... Pearl jam.

Sad to not see him again this year,
