Catching the next one on Saturday night in Vancouver, be sure to post your thoughts on the show. I haven't been in a long time but Chateau St Michelle is a nice venue, they have some great wine and they used to sell picnic snacks as well, little different vibe than your typical outdoor concert venue.

Hoping like hell for an Ed appearance or Neil Jam reunion tonight. And, of course, Cortez.

Caught Neil outside the venue walking by the water with his handlers this afternoon and got to say a quick hello. I’d taken a wrong turn trying to find my way to the main gates but it worked out pretty good!

So....apparently just missed Ed and Jill after the Neil show. As in, they had to be in line behind us (5-8) people. Man! I believe this is the proper time to say I was #gutted to learn this information. My guess is they chuckled at the bi ear guy just in front of them wearing a PJ shirt while having no clue who was behind him.

Neil was pretty good. You have to know prior to the show that you're going to see a 79 year old perform rock and roll. So, if your expectations are that, you enjoyed the hell out of it. We arrived about 4:30 and were dead center 2nd row in GA. People around us were chill all show, which was great.

Song 2 being Cowgirl In the Sand damn near made me tear up. Classic sounding Neil Young guitar - freaking love that stuff!!! Instantly took me back to being 14 and seeing Neil and the Horse in 97. They played 17 songs and I didn't know some of the newer stuff/deeper cuts.

Are you writing about at the Vancouver show or the show at the winery in Washington?

These vinyl do get released individually, correct? I know they previously have come out at a later date, but I've passed on a lot of recent Neil vinyl so just want to be sure I can get some of these individually down the road.

  • I'm looking for a good single for face for Neil tonight at the Hollywood Bowl, if anyone happens to have a spare. I've been looking for quite awhile, but anything face value is way too far away.
I'll go to the venue regardless, and hope something gets released or pops up there. 🤞🙏

  • This is great news! The one we've all been waiting for.
    here for the music...
