They gave us section 103. The lettered sections below us are floor seats so they are not on an incline. I wouldn’t have wanted those since I can never see with floor seats. So I guess our seats are the best under the circumstances. All I can say is that I better see a flood in that pit. It is really windy now. But I was 19th in the GA line. I definitely would have had rail.

Well that was the first time I was involved in a GA pit flood out. That definitely wasn’t on my Uncle Neil bingo card for today. But despite that, Neil was great.

Great hanging with you at the show. Here is a nice memento of the GA pit flood.

It seems like it has been one thing after another with this tour. What time were you lined up? How was the line?

I got there around 3:00pm and was number 19 in the GA line. It was a beautiful day and we were right on the water so the line was fun until they told us they were closing the pit and reassigning us seats. But seeing all the water in the pit - they did the right thing. It would have been miserable standing in all that water and it got a bit chilly at night so that would have made it even worse.

There were a couple of nice deep cuts thrown in last night for good measure:

The first Long Walk Home for 36 years, complete with lyric change (“From Canada to Old Ukraine” instead of “From Vietnam to old Beirut”).
Also, the pretty rare and still-unreleased Singer Without A Song, played on electric guitar for the first time.

“Put yer good money on the sunrise”

Yes, good for them, but I hope it's not bad for Bethel Woods tomorrow (I'm going) and I wanted to hear Fuckin' Up.

I think the same thing every time I see Cortez was played. I'm going to the Woodinville show.

Just seeing the flooding from jones beach.  I got crazy lucky and pivoted from jones beach show to VA show a few weeks ago and had a close pit spot then.  Funny how things work out sometimes.  Feel bad for everyone who put in the effort to get close.  Did they at least refund a portion of the ticket price?

No Fuckn' Up but it was a really good show. It was worth the over 3-hour drive there and the Hour and 14 minutes to get out of the parking lot after the show. Well worth it.

    WOW!

It taak a while for the tide to roll in,and Neil made a few jokes about it.

Seeing the empty front of Orchestra eventually filling up with water reminds me of the old days when there used to be a moat surrounding the stage. I recall when Neil was a youngster I saw Annie Get Your Gun there with the moat

Surprised noone mentioned that this tide tends to happen at Jones. Probably a bad one this time. I've been in 2 inch deep water there. Buckets of fun while holding a phone.

They need to rebuild the orch, but, that costs $$.

I'm really hoping Neil does one more acoustic solo tour before he's done.  In 2014 I had the opportunity to buy tix for $300 for Carnegie Hall, but I was barely out of school and couldn't justify the price.  Nowadays I'd jump on that.

I've seen him solo electric which was great and with Crazy Horse and Chrome Hearts.
