The Official 2026 Tour Rumor Thread

Remember when the guys on Pardon The Interruption played a game called "Something or Nothing"?
Basically, they'd take an event or rumor in the sports world and be like "Is this something...or nothing?"
This could be a likely candidate for a game like that. These dates could also be nothing more than Eddie wanting to take the kids to Japan over spring break. (I have zero idea when his kids go on spring break and have zero desire to pry, but it seems like a likely time for a spring break, does it not?)
For any possible future dates, we kind of already have a layout of how things work. Dates get announced, the fans go berzerk trying to buy tickets, then more dates get announced...sometimes even while the band is on tour.
Could there be more dates? Absolutely. Could this be it for the year? Absolutely.
Based entirely on past practices, am I expecting any more dates announced this week? It'd be as much of a surprise as this was.Post edited by Lost In Ohio onPresidential Advice from President-Elect Mike McCready: "Are you getting something out of this all encompassing trip?"0 -

It's kind of discouraging isn't it? The newer PJ mgmt seems to be MUCH more business and less fan friendly in regards to tour info.Sugarloafer04 said:it's interesting there wasn't even a hint of this in the newsletter 3 days ago."A smart monkey doesn't monkey around with another monkey's monkey" - Darwin's Theory0 -
I don't think this is fair. I think it’s very cool when we get the wink wink leaks here but it shouldn't be an expectation.darwinstheory said:

Why do they need to be fan friendly leaking info?darwinstheory said:

I agree. I used to help book and produce concerts and things happen and change so as much as we like to hear stuff, privacy is part of their jobs.pjl44 said:

So we can plan our trips out a bit further ahead of time. I'd wager many people on the forum have traveled at least domestically, if not internationally, for a show. Non-forum members are probably more likely to just hit up a local show.clemsongolfer8 said:

I've already planned my summer vacations, so any summer stops are effectively out for me. Had there been any inkling of a Japan tour a month ago, we might be headed to Japan rather than Chile.0 -
Its a business. They can't worry about a few planning vacations. Also things change last minute.njhaley1 said:

I don't feel like I said anything unfair at all. I didn't say it is owed to us or required. I just stated that the new management has not been as eager to leak this information with us. Tickets and merch still sell, so I get the lack of concerning themselves with putting little nuggets out there for us.pjl44 said:

And while only a small portion of us do travel, it is very helpful to have hints. Many have saved hundreds...even thousands on cheaper travel due to these hints. I simply speculate the older management understood/cared for that for the loyal fan base a bit more. The new group in charge has their own way of doing things. Heck, even saying that isn't a knock on the new mgmt, it's just stating the difference between the two.

Thanks! I didn't think I was saying taboo or too crazy. Simply noting a difference in management styles and giving feedback. Hopefully constructive criticism makes is way back and we can return to getting rumors.njhaley1 said:
