Now that the SEC can't pay under the table, their era of dominance is over.  The Big teams always had the money and alumni.  Now they are exercising it and you see the result.

These are all valid points to explain why the SEC is not dominate.  And it's true that no one has the depth they used to have.  IN the past, if a Bama guard went down, then a guy in the program for 2-3 years steps in.  Now they xfer and you have to go to a freshman.  But that issue is true for every team.  What is different is how the SEC is really struggling in the bowl season.  Their commissioner thinks Tennessee should have made the playoffs bu loses to Illinois. Crazy.

I’ve watched every minute of IU this CFP. I’ve never seen a team tackle this well in all of my years of watching football. A fundamental of the game. They rarely miss tackles.

  • They are a complete team. Miami gets a home championship game, but i don't think it'll matter. Mendoza to my Raiders!

I’ll be very disappointed if Miami wins this thing. It will be interesting to see the crowd makeup in Miami’s home stadium. I swear the Peach Bowl looked like 80% IU fans.

Is that two signs or can you flip it over? Reminds me of my hitchhiking days.

Is that something that actually happened?
If so that would be funny.  Given that they know how many people will be in the building, and most games are already a display of drunkenness,  this would be quite a feat.

when wisconsin came out to play BYU they literally drank all the beer in Provo. then again, there are only 2, maybe 3, bars in Provo but it really did happen.
