    That PI against Ole Miss was maddening. I think it happened with less than two minutes left in the game.

    yes, there was no DPI…if anything, it was OPI on georgia.

    there was also a blatant facemask on georgia that wasn’t called and may have allowed ole miss to run out the clock when they were up 3. but, I can forgive missed calls more than phantom calls for something that didn’t happen.

    Miami coached fucked up not going for two after last TD.  Kicked to make it 24-19. Not difference at that point between 4 and 5 point lead. Not going for two allowed ole miss to go up 3 with their 2 pointer. They’d only be down one now if he got it.

    I agree.  They fucked up many times last night, shooting themselves in the foot.  They were a far more physical and fast team than Ole Miss, yet let them hang out with the dumb penalties.  Also, when it was late 3rd, and it looked like points would matter, the OC called a pass play on 3rd and 13 from about the 25.  Ball was tipped, intercepted, and walked away with no points.  It's difficult to get 13 yards when the d only needs to protect 25 or so.  Bad call.  

    Miami is talented enough to win it all, but they can play sloppy.  They played a perfect game against Ohio State (zero accepted penalties) and they needed that.  If they make those types of mistakes next week, Indiana or Oregon will take care of them.  And either of those teams would have smoked Ole Miss.

    Now that the SEC can't pay under the table, their era of dominance is over.  The Big teams always had the money and alumni.  Now they are exercising it and you see the result.

    I kinda hate the lack of player to school loyalty, but more players are getting better opportunities now instead of sitting on the Alabama or whatever depth chart for 2-3 years before getting their chance.
