one 'eddism' that i remember was from the VFC reading show in 2004, i found the quote at fivehorizons, in regards to voting:
"Anybody who is undecided, if you think about it, being undecided is really dangerous, and I have a perfect example: people with mullets. That's indecision. "Do I want it short? Do I want it long? I just can't take a stand.'"
LOL!!!! :;

Sugar Ray wrote:Where they brought up a young girl , like 8 or something, and they were talking about how she had school in the morning and that they should probably knock off for the night so she wouldn't be tired the next morning... then Eddie says "FUCK SCHOOL..." then he turns around and says something like "shit, I just said Fuck"
Can't remember which stop that was during the Canadian tour but it had me laughin my ass off.

"I know this song so well, I can smoke a cigarette, have a drink, brush my teeth, take a shit, mow the lawn, but I will be doing only two of these during this version"

This whole thing is why Eddie is such a good frontman. He says whatever the hell he wants to, and if you don't like it... While I have nothing new to add, the "throwing of the change" incident remains my all-time favorite. How did he pull off not looking like a dumbass? Anyone who can spit out the word "fuck" that many times in such a short rant has skills.
I wish I could only be so bold as this fearless leader!0 -

from the Council Bluffs, IA show 6-13-2003
"How often do you get to play on Friday the 13th and have it go well?"
Probably not the funniest thing he's ever said, but I'll never forget it. (my first show).I'll ride the wave where it takes me0 -
This isn't something he said, but in 03' in Cleveland, he was running around stage with a couple of tambourines during RITFW and completely wiped out off of one of the speakers. He fell about 5 or 6 feet and everyone got a little nervous. Then he jumped up out of nowhere, raised his arms to the crowd, slammed the tambourines onto the ground and jammed for about 10 more minutes.
It was Classic."Poopship

When I saw pearl jam in may of this past year in D.C., Ed took a moment to tell a funny story about how that morning before the show he recieved a phone call from Dick Cheney asking Eddie if he could play his favorite song for him at the show that night, the song he listens to every morning. So Ed says to the crowd "So this is the song. this is for Dick" and they start playing "Fuckin Up". Obviously he didn't really get a phone call from Dick Cheney (or maybe he did...
) but still his little story leading up to the song was pretty funny.
